How clean. Lovely staff. Warm comfy. Had to mive to this hotel as i checked out of another i had booked that wasnt fit for a dog. I was so ill with chest infection and extended my stay. Staff were so kind and caring. Especially sarah thank you

I have stayed at the Burlington before.
The location is fantastic the lady on reception sorry never got her name was so kind and very friendly helpful so polite.
The room was perfect the blind in the bathroom was broken and someone came that afternoon to fix it but needed to get a replacement never returned so I assume there wasn’t any in store.
Having a broken blind did not bother me,in any way just thought I should report it to reception.
Very impressed at the efficiency and service.

My original room has a problem and reception quickly dealt with it by transferring me to another room with an upgrade.

It's a hit or a miss which room you get, some rooms are good some are definitely not, with horrible views out the alleyway at the back or toilets that need a serious overhaul

Location was perfect as was working in the area, breakfast was awesome.
Obviously the hotel next door unfortunately burnt down so it's a bit unsightly currently on approach, but the hotel public areas were clean and spacious, however, the individual rooms could do with a freshen up.

Have stayed before, would not pay the extra for a superior room again not worth the money
Sea view, comfortable chairs in room, bed comfortable, nice shower.
Wardrobe for clothes and coffee machine. No explanation when checking in how to get your room cleaned or sundries replenished.
When I asked I was told I needed to put the sign on the outside of the door only there was no sign in the room.
Twice they failed to send one up so I had to keep going to reception for milk, toilet roll etc.
No mat for shower even though they knew there were mobility issues, I asked for no steps but step in bathroom.
Expected better for a superior sea view room.

Fabulous location and a lovely hotel you couldn’t be disappointed.
My room was very good. Nice furniture. Very comfortable bed. The communal areas of the hotel are very good.
Staff pleasant and personable. In my opinion my room was on par with a more expensive hotel I’ve recently visited on Eastbourne seafront. I’m booked here to return in May. I can definitely recommend. There’s isn’t anything I could be negative about. I stayed here during Covid as I was working at the hospital and in between buying and selling a property. The hotel was under different ownership then and pretty terrible. Nothing was good enough and I had to get refunded and find something else.
This certainly isn’t the case today. The new owners have come in and sorted the hotel out. It’s located right on the front with easy access to everything in town.
