Just had 4 days here and was overall quit impressed, only thing letting it down for me was the condition of woodwork and paint on the outside as seen from inside looking out. But generous size rooms, comfortable bed, tea, coffee biscuits all supplied, we had buffet breakfast and there were a very good choice, the best part is the location opposite the pier, 10min walk to town center and a few mins to bus stops. Will definitely be back, thank you.

The friendly staff, Nigel the night porter, Sarah and Niki on reception are all fabulous along with the bar staff. The location is terrific with Starling murmurations on display from inside of the veranda both dusk and dawn. The Vegan pizza is terrific value and hits the spot, as usual the Gannet ate most of it before remembering to take a photo. All in all the perfect Faulty Towers!

Hit and miss Location and staff Stayed two separate nights away that weren't planned, due to work, first night lovely comfortable bed and great shower, second night in a different room on top floor, water pressure to shower was awful and bed was so uncomfortable that it left me with back pain.

all in all good value for money. 7/10 the location was excellent, right by the pier. the staff were efficient and very helpful. the reception area and entrance were well cared for as was the dining room and bar. the room was large and well heated and supplied with coffees and biscuits as required. breakfast was self service and fairly standard. just round the corner was a pedestrian area full of restaurants for private parking please translate as £6.00 / day. the exterior needed a coat of paint and some TLC. but being a grade 2 listed building, i can imagine that all sorts of permits are required and may not be so forth coming these days. the bathroom was a bit small, more of a galley bathroom but adequate

My stay was perfect. The room was clean and I had a beautiful sea view which I didn’t expect. Staff are the best. A fabulous hotel, perhaps in need of a refurb. The staff are great, very friendly, efficient and helpful. Location is superb. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Eastbourne. I loved everything.

Although the staff were friendly and courteous the hotel itself is run down. It’s obvious that improvements have been attempted. But in a half hearted attempt. Paintwork peeling off work work, one bedside table renewed but not the other, mouldy silicone in the shower, heating not sufficient even with an extra plug in electric heater.

Great location, friendly staff. Old windows let a lot of noise and cold through.
