A slightly outdated hotel with elderly clientele. My room was spacious and clean but the radiator wasn't working and was replaced by an electric heater which took a long time to warm the room. There was a leaking ceiling in the restaurant area. The breakfast was of standard quality.

Lovely hotel with wonderful and helpful staff right by the seafront. Spectacular views of the sea and the pier from the floor length windows.
Nice food and an old world atmosphere made our stay really memorable. Will come back for sure!
I loved it!

I was recently at this hotel. For RS+F WEEKENDER. There was no northern soul which was great.
The hotel was clean, great staff friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
For our weekender it would of been nice to check in earlier and have later evenings.
Has for a complaint on here. If the room was that bad why didn't tell the staff has the were very helpful indeed. These type of people have no backbone and probably wanted something free.
They mentioned men dealing total nonsense !!!!
The burlington was a great experience on the sea front. For anyone , single, couples or families.
Also this hotel offered fantastic value.

Enjoyed a great weekend (2 nights), unbelievable value for money. £125 with breakfast and evening meal for the whole weekend. Food was great, service was friendly, room was clean, hot water and clean towels. Can't praise the staff enough, they were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou

A lovely magestic Victorian hotel in a prime location . We had a sea view room. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all facilities we needed . It was a good sized room with great views of the pier . The breakfast was very good and the staff were very pleasant . We loved the evening entertainment. The magician was fantastic .

Overall the hotel was great and easy to get to. Close to the sea front. The room was comfortable.
Breakfast and dinner service could do with a little improvement, waiting staff did not always seem aware when guests were asking for teas and coffees.
Are there any any plans to have an access ramp to the hotel, as the steps were difficult to negotiate.

Perfectly located hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. Good breakfast. I stayed here 1 night for a conference and it was fine for one night for the price. Some of the furniture in the room was broken though and I'm not sure the bathroom had been thoroughly cleaned (there were soap stains on the wall and in the sink) .The restaurant closed at 19.30 which seemed quite early. For the price however it was completely reasonable. There is a good sized car park out the back which was an additional 6 pounds but was well worth it. I'd stay again for business.

We had a lovely room with a fab view of the Pier, Room 417. The bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated and the room was clean and had an effective stand-alone heater (there were, at the time, problems with the central heating). Breakfast excellent, JoJo (who seemed to be in charge!) made a special trip to get my wife some Gluten Free sausages! Reception staff friendly & helpful. Didn't use the bar.
Yes, some areas of the hotel need a bit of TLC but we had booked well in advance & consequently got a good price on the room rate. We would definitely visit again!

I have just returned from a lovely 2 night stay. My room was a standard single, which was much larger than I was expecting (it would have easily fit a small double) with a reasonable sized modern bathroom that was spotlessly clean. I was informed by the friendly reception staff that the room cleaning service is 'on demand', which is exactly how it should be. The room was not centrally heated, but a small heater was supplied - when I opened the room for the first time, it was like a greenhouse, so the portable heater definitely worked! As I prefer the cold, being able to turn the heater off and open the window was a much better solution for me than any central heating would have been. The tv had a particularly good reception, and the picture on all 50+ channels was excellent. It was also remarkably easy to link up to the free wi-fi . My stay included breakfast, and I found this particularly good. A large selection of self service hot food, cereals, yoghurt, fruit salads and toasts - even the fussiest eaters couldn't complain about choice. Complementary juices, teas and coffee served by super friendly staff made this a meal to look forward to. I'm well aware of the problems that this hotel has, but my own personal experience of it was very enjoyable, and I would happily return. Do not go into a hotel which is offering budget rates, and expect 5* luxury.

I came for a long weekend with Leisuretime and was expecting the usual seaside type of hotel - cheap and cheerful sort of thing. I could not have been more wrong.
The Staff are brilliant. Polite, helpful and couldn't do enough for you.
My single room was really spacious, and has new furniture and a comfy bed.
The quality of the evening meals is exceptional.
I have no idea who the chef is but he /she is a definite asset to the hotel. Breakfast is buffet style and there's plenty of choice.
I had one minor problem which was soon sorted out. Would I come back ? Definitely.

I stayed in 232 The bed was so uncomfortable, there was a unmarked step into the bathroom, the toilet was too close to the wall which had a large toilet roll holder right next to it so you couldn't sit on it properly, the towel warmer didn't work, the electric heater didn't' work that well, room service was ok they didn't hoover the or give clean mugs.

Currently staying here, breakfast has been great, can't complain for a buffet breakfast aka an all you can eat 😅 room is nice and clean, have a nice sea view from said room. Toiletries and all the features you get in a room are bang on. It's a nice hotel, in a great location, staff have been pleasant and friendly, stones throw away from the town centre and pier. Would recommend to friends and family
