We stayed in a superior room for 3 nights. Room was dirty and not hovered properly. Coffee machine and kettle dirty. Grubby marks on heater and bathroom doors. Housekeeper needs a talking too. Breakfast was good but could have been hotter. Plates were hot but milk jugs need a good clean ! Will be going back to the Queens next time !

My adult daughter and I stayed here for the weekend. We had travelled five hours from the North of England and it was so nice to be met with a warm welcome on our arrival. Our room had twin beds and these were very comfortable. The towels were also clean and fluffy and the breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked.
The friendly, efficient and attentive staff are what makes this hotel stand out. Our shower did need a small repair but that was dealt with straight away and definitely ask for a second pillow as that will not be a problem.
We didn't have a sea view so next time I will request one as the location is absolutely excellent.

We stayed at the hotel over Easter.
The room was very comfortable and clean although the shower could do with some attention.
We didn’t have heating and had limited hot water but understand there was an issue with the boiler etc. Kinda feel a Discount should have been given for this. It was not.

Hotel could do with some internal modernizing but like most seaside hotels have been hit hard due to covid so will take time to recover.
Probably would advice to eat outside of the hotel restaurant as the menu was limited seating times were far too early and no atmosphere. Was like a seen from Cocoon 😂.

Fun ,eager to please staff couldn't do enough to help, made us feel so welcome, rooms are nice, beds are comfy, housekeeping is done on your terms, reception and bar staff lovely, entertainment at weekend good, would come back, or try another in the coast and country hotel group.

Car Park immediately behind the hotel which is a huge bonus. Very comfy beds. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Lovely all you can eat breakfast with good selection of hot and continental choices😊. Good views and evening entertainment provided. Good value

In a time when finding good staff or indeed, staff, full stop, The Burlington Hotel made my stay a really enjoyable one!
I arrived on Friday 31st March, for a Soul Weekender. The welcome on reception was good and my bag was taken to a safe place, until Check-in, at 15.00hrs.
Check-in was easy and efficient.
My room was really nice, with a lovely sea view.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Food was what you would expect for a weekend package.
There were good choices and the food came quickly. Both Dinner and Breakfast were more than adequate.
All in all, the staff did a great job considering they were probably short on numbers.
I really hope we get another weekender there in the future and I would also stay there for a break if I were looking to go to Eastbourne.
Eastborne itself had lots to off including many great independent coffee houses, bakerys and restaraunts.

Stayed here this weekend for a private music event. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming! Yes the hotel needs some investment but is incredibly well priced because of this.
The location is amazing, the facilities are good and the price is a lot less than we've paid for a lot less. If you're a picky eater or demand high end finish then pay more elsewhere but if you're lucky to be part of a fantastic event here, you'll get fed, watered for reasonable bar prices and be on the seafront which really can't be said for the prices you pay here!
We slept well, beds were comfy, we requested some extra pillows and they were delivered before we headed back to the room after breakfast! You can request most of the things that previous reviewers have been negative about, if you have any issues, speak to staff, not one member of staff would refuse to acknowledge your request, they'll sort it out as best they can for you and I don't think that's common enough.
Lots of parking locally if you can't get into the car park, lots of local amenities, lots to do and see. Don't be too affected by the previous reviews, give them a chance and remember what you've paid for it and you'll be fine!

They went the extra mile at breakfast and dinner, nothing was too much trouble. The bar and cocktail bar staff were lovely too. I loved the expresso martinis 🙏🙏🙏 overall a winner 😊

Stayed at the burlington for 2 nights at a soul weekender. Great location, our room was spacious and clean with a great sea view. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
We also had a bonus of a buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal! Which were lovely , served by very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely come again, big thank you to everyone for a very enjoyable stay

Stayed recently for the rhythm soul & funk weekender. Exceptional value for money with very friendly staff and great food. I hadn't even expected food in with the price so it was a nice surprise and I was actually looking forward to every meal time.
Rooms were maybe a little tired but were clean and comfortable.

We have just returned from a weekend away in Eastbourne using the Burlington, we had a lovely stay at the hotel, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and good food all at a great price, we look forward to a return visit later in the year

Stayed one Saturday night for the RS&F4 weekender. Room was clean and comfortable. Amazing value with dinner & breakfast included. The staff deserve a lot of praise for their hard work and helpfulness. Here’s hoping to come back for RS&F5.

Myself and 2 friends travelled down from Dundee buy car to the hotel.
To be honest I was a bit apprehensive as this was a new venue for us as the previous hotel had closed down.
We arrived early and although our rooms would not be ready for a few hours the staff were really friendly and allowed us to leave our records and bags in their safe keeping ,and gave us advice on where to get food and drink.
When given the room I was very pleased with it.
The food was excellent, good breakfast and dinner.
We had two rooms to play and dance to our music and before long we had made friends with all the staff. We saw many guests of the hotel that weren't here for the music sitting outside and tapping their feet.
Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and look forward to coming back.

Great staff, amazing music (funk weekender), exceptional value for money. The room was a little tired but for the price it's unbeatable. Very fast WiFi, good food (breakfast and dinner were included in the price, both had extensive choice and amazing staff). Terrific views, well located and parking at the rear. Hope to return soon!

Just back from a fantastic weekend at this hotel, the location is perfect. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, they went out of their way to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Breakfast was a buffet style and plenty to choose from to suit everyone, dinner was ordered from a menu and was really good, service was very quick. Will definitely be returning again soon.

First time at the Burlington - an old victorian hotel on Eastbourne seafront. I was there fri friday to sunday for the Rhythm Soul & Funk weekender. Value for money room and board, decent food , clean n tidy room,decent bar prices, really helpful staff too. Hopefully this will be the new home for Rhythm soul & funk weekenders for the forseeable. A couple of observations- on the friday having the bar open from midday AND check in availiable from midday on the friday would be helpful for those travelling long distances to be there from the start. Also it would be good if the music could continue till 2 or 3am on the friday and saturday. Thankyou
