Great Hotel a lot of character, rooms a bit outdated.
In the Hotel you can see the allure it must have had in its glory days, we really liked that. It has beautiful rooms downstairs, the restaurant the ball room, etc. The staff is ever so friendly. The view from the bedrooms is beautifull with the Pier in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good, full english or a lighter version, you can take wathever you want. We asked for a packed lunch on Saterday, if you go for a long hike I can reconmend it, delicious sandwiches, a bag of crisps, a chocolate treat and a drink. Saterday night there was a lady singing live music, which was very good, it was our last night, so that was a great end of our stay at the Burlington. I think it was great value for money, we will be back
The rooms we stayed in were a bit outdated, they can use a bit of a tidy up.

Great budget hotel ideally located
It’s an historic building ideally located on the seafront by the pier and close to centre of town.
It’s in need of a renovation but this helps to keep costs down.
The room could be cleaner, as looked like someone had been murdered but likely just a wine stain. Still could be addressed.

Staff very kind helpful efficient wanted clean towels went down told re rption thrm returned directly to room ro find housekeeper with clean towels. Shame owners had let it get j to such a bad state. 1 lift only suitable for 1 1/2 persons only working lift in whole building for over a week no sign of maintenance being done.

Perfect location on the front and close to newly developed bars and restaurant area.
Pretty tired but not unusual for a seaside hotel.
Room was spacious and sheets were clean however, the room and bathroom were surface cleaned but pretty grubby.

Need usb points in room as there were none and room needs daily turn over + tea .coffe top ups as these are only if requested
