Decent stay with good facilities. Service could have been better.
Great location, Large and comfortable room with spacious bathroom. Splendid lobby with lots of seating space and a good view.
While some staff were decent, most staff were cold and should have been more welcoming.
Found the Breakfast layout to be a mess. It was confusing, large plates and cups were difficult to find. Milk was served only on asking and not part of the spread.

We checked into this beautiful hotel after visiting the Seven Sisters hillocks late afternoon. We were family of 2 couples and were allotted two double rooms. The rooms are spacious with attached toilets. The toilets were very clean. The tea tray was sufficient. The room had an iron table and an iron press. After a tiring trail on windy day at Seven sisters the room was so cozy and comfortable. The hotel has a large but paid parking.
The location of this hotel is just opposite the Parade and the view of the gardens and sea is fantastic. The Shaikhs Pier is few paces away.
A lovely female singer entertained us with songs from the 1960-90's. She is really good. The audience loved.
The lounge of the hotel is very spacious and comfortable with view of the Parade and Sea.
We recommend this hotel to our friends and relations.

Great town, plenty of eating places, all in all a very nice resort.
Breakfast was first class, staff were brilliant, very clean rooms.
we had a view of the fire escape, room was very warm,we had a small fan but that just pushed warm around, There was no window to open, shower fittings in bathroom very loose, we did report this twice but nothing was done.

my mum and friend will definitely be going back very soon good value for the money
this was the 3rd time my mother and friend in there 80s have stayed this year it’s in a good position for seafront and shops and for walking the good has been very good with plenty of choice and the staff have been very friendly and helpful they will be going back again soon
one of the rooms they stayed in last time was not suitable for them to close to stairs they did mention it to staff and they where offered a different room but they did not want the upheaval this time when they went the where very apologetic gave them a good room and complementry drinks

Prime location
I had a superior double room however 2 single beds were pushed together which made the bed uncomfortable & in my opinion it certainly wasn’t superior

Stayed for three days as part of coach trip with Caledonian. Lovely old hotel which deserves an update which i know they are working on. Room clean, excellent sea view, shower a bit small but manageable, comfortable bed - slept really well! Breakfast superb had every choice you could want and the dining room was beautiful. Staff friendly. Need to get second lift working for those of us on 4th floor. Outlook really nice flowered gardens, sea view and delightful lights plus the pier lit up during the night. Great hotel, great staff, great location
Excellent location, breakfast very good value for money.
Would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone. The only thing that we found was that we spent a lot of time waiting for the lift. A second one would have been perfect as a lot of the guests including myself were of reduced mobility and unable to negotiate the stairs.

The guy on reception was very helpful and arranged an upgrade to our room due to health issues. Original room was poor in cleanliness, decor and space
The space in the bathroom was very limited. A child would struggle to sit on the toilet. The room was shabby.....

There are remnants of its former glory visible but overall its clearly suffered a lack of maintenance and upgrades over the years. The tired appearance is not mirrored in the staff, however, who were uniformly helpful and professional, and the location can't be beat. But the fact is that returning to the room was just about the last thing we wanted to do.

I was looking for a reasonable room ( only ) for the night, so can’t comment on the food as ate elsewhere.
This hotel once upon a rime would have been magnificent, however with so many of these Victorian hotels, time and cost of running a large hotel have taken their toll.
Therefore, the grandeur of the building is still there, but its all a bit dated and rough around the edges. However, the location is great, staff very friendly, and rooms clean. There was also some good entertainment on when I was there. For a cheap no thrills stay, I would return, but for anything a bit more special of an occasion, probably not.

Paid for a superior room but pretty sure it wasn’t! Paint spills on radiator, windows and toilet were dirty. Only one lift working all week so queues of people waiting. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant.

This was my 3rd stay at the burlington. I just love the location. The rooms are very big and comfortable and the staff are always friendly.
