Nothing not to like it was a very pleasant short holiday Only thing I can say is the tables in the restaurant were a bit too close to each other.

Stayed here for 2 nights 13-14 September and booked thru booking.com. Paid £71 per room per night b&b. When we checked in, we asked to look at the room and also asked if seaview room was available. We looked at both the room allocated (which was very dark and dismal at back of hotel) and a seaview, no comparison! It was lovely, light and airy, particularly as it was a sunny day. We chose to upgrade (£25 per room per night). The hotel itself does definitely need an overhaul and is very tired looking. New carpets throughout and a lick of paint everywhere could work wonders. Cleaning could be improved but bedding and towels were ok. To have just 1 lift is impractical and was shabby. Found staff to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not Michelin star but adequate. I didn’t eat hot breakfast but my friends all said it was fine. Not huge selection of hot but for what we paid, cannot complain. Cereal, toast, croissants as well as plain yoghurt and summer berry compote (probably frozen), all of which was ok. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would say good value for what we paid. We would stay here again if we were in Eastbourne and in seaview room

The staff were lovely and helpful and the eating facilities were excellent. The lobby and ground floor were well kept and modern. However, our rooms were in need of decorating. My sink was cracked and the toilets were brown. The paintwork was flakey and chipped. This did not spoil our stay but we were a little disappointed.

Good position easily accessible to all amenities. Only a heavy duvet or very heavy blankets available. Soap dispensers had very sharp edges in a bad position ( my husband cut his arm). Water through the bathroom ceiling twice flooding the bathroom.

Will most likely stay elsewhere next time I’m in the area Great location with a car park, Can’t say much else as literally used it as a bed for the night for work commitments, arrived late and left early Only had one pillow on my bed, you have to pay for the car park which in my opinion is just an extra way of making money out of already paying guests, if I have to pay hotel parking I simply will not give them anymore money by using their bar/ restaurant

Disappointingly with its grand sea facing front, The Burlington is a hotel that with plaster bubbling off the walls, peeling wallpaper and tired carpets testifies that has not been refurbished in many a year. One notes that the foyer area is the only area in fine fettle.
Only one functional lift ( despite the notice one lift has been out of service for 6 months) Lovely friendly staff.

Eastbourne is lovely When booking on booking.com always get top floor with the tiniest windows when paying for a Seaview

The room size was fine but a larger double bed would have been better.

First Room not suitable Location right on the front near the pier First room we were allocated (double, sea view) was very small, bathroom smelly, tiny TV. We asked for a better room, it was very uncomfortable and unsuitable considering the cost. Nice girl at front desk moved us to a better room. Hotel is very old, needs a lot of refurbishment and deep cleaning.

The property is quite dated and not in a good way. The elevators are barely adequate and the room finishes are tired. The parking is minimal but the staff were quite friendly and pleasant.

Great location, great view, friendly staff. Double room with sea view was disappointing. Very dated and in need of a makeover and new windows.

First of all the food here is fab can’t fault that at all
I felt a bit let down that I complained about my room and the lady at reception couldn’t move us ,so my mum complained and they moved us both, maybe I was too polite
This hotel needs a Very Big Update and Soon
We have stayed in many hotels but unfortunately it’s like faulty towers
I do hope that in the near future that it gets a good update on some rooms ,don’t know about the sea views didn’t have one

Also no entertainment only on Thursdays/Saturdays what a shame could of had entertainment on other nights too
No bingo

The lifts 1 working and the other 1 Not was not that great
So please do give this hotel TLC then the rewards would be great 👍

Staff were excellent, but this hotel is not disabled friendly. No ramp to access hotel, only 1 lift in use, and the tiniest shower in our room I have ever come across.
The room itself was pleasant, and spacious.

Sovereign Harbour is a relatively new development . When I lived in Eastbourne, it was fisherman's huts and fishing boats, a bit of a no man's land. The harbour is worth a look if you like boats and you can go on a boat ride. Plenty of places for coffee ,a drink or food
Retail park nearby has some large outlets e.g Asda,Matalan and TKmax. Good parking
This place is best seen at night and is very attractive when lit up.
