Fantastic location and great value for money
Booked a superior room with sea view and was very pleased, the room was bright and a good size. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and the staff were all very pleasant. Would definitely visit again.

The position of the hotel
Water pressure and quantity flashing the toilet ( had to flash it two or three times),,, basin semi blocked, filling up each time we were using water. On a separate note, the food was bad, very good breakfast but rubbish dinner.

The bar shutting at 11pm during the summer maybe consider extending to enable guests to socialise once entertainment had finished we were unable to buy a drink from bar or room service. Quite disappointing not just for us but other guests who also wished to socialise.

just came back from weekend here and stayed in a superior double room sea view and found it ok it was clean and large i asked for a room with the big windows and thats what i got so was very pleased .the bathroom was very tiny if you were over weight you would of had to back in but it was very clean and soap /showerjel provided the only down side is the floor boards they creak a lot and we had someone above us that walked around most of the night it went quite about 5.30 to 8 oclock then started again so no sleep all weekend although i would say thats not really the hotels fault just are bad luck we had a insomniac above us !!! the hotel is well worth a visit all staff are very helpfull and polite never ate there so can not comment about the food had entertainment on saturday night which was not to bad

Breakfast was a poor choice for the price, could have offered a choice of the way the eggs were cooked rather than just scrambled, no vegan sausage choice either.

No frills, central, value for money

The hotel is a bit dated in parts, lift interior - though I think they’re being refreshed.

You get what you pay for
I didn't have some high expectations for the money paid. The room was spacious, and the view was splendid. Breakfast was lovely and staff friendly.
The bed was comfy enough but squeaky. The facilities are quite shabby.
