We had a pleasant stay. I loved that you have the beach right in front of the hotel. Shops and many restaurants are close by. Housekeeping could have done a better job. They did not clean the coffee cups in our room. Bin bags were kinda thrown in the bins without putting them in properly.

The entrance and lobby could definitely do with a better more inviting look.
Rooms were spacious but windows quite old difficult to open/close. My shower was partly broken and had to be fixed back
Beds were very comfortable.
Staff at reception nice .

Great value for money. Perfect for my 24 hours to see a show Fab breakfast, in particular the sausages! Room - great size as I was on my own. All staff very kind and helpful Shower head very small and came down at 90 degrees, hard to stand under it - I’m being picky

Help yourself/self-service breakfast. The sash was missing on one side of the window?
There were notices on the lift door to ' slide the lift door across with your hand to shut the door, then it will work '
Unbelievable.... completely unsafe and very very dangerous. Plus, I got stuck in the lift and had to use the emergency bell for the staff to rescue me...
Unbelievable. Just glad I was not someone who suffered from chlostraphobia or and elderly person who panicked and had a heart attack. Let alone lose their hand from

Good for a few days but above comments would have made it better Position and it’s own car park The steps for entry and exit not good for disabled and could do with a bit of decorating

Very disappointed and will probably think twice about returning. Sea view is wonderful.
Food was very acceptable. Good choices. Breakfast excellent.
Very pleasant staff working very hard.
The whole experience really. Have visited couple of times before. Feels like hotel needs more updating. Grubby in places, dark and dismal.
Our room 207 was very disappointing, too small with very little space in bathroom and windows rattled.

It is a shame that this property has been unloved for such a long time. The windows need to be replaced sooner rather than later the outside needs cleaning and painting but on a plus note the staff are very helpful

Was disappointed with the mix ups at hotel as this was my birthday which started off on a bad note. The staff were amazing and hotel is old but has a lot of character. Close to everything. I think the problem is booking.com sending emails all the time upgrade, book in. This does not happen I upgraded but when I got to hotel they knew nothing about it. So was quite embarrassing at reception and I had upgraded for 24 for all the stay, but got told 24 per night.
I told the reception and showed the email and they honoured it.

Great location, tired hotel The location was the best part of the hotel Like lots of hotels of this age it’s tired and difficult to maintain. However there are things that the hotel could have done to mitigate this and unfortunately it was clear that they weren’t interested in doing this.
