We'll be back. Breakfast was exceptional, great variety, excellent bacon! Staff always at hand to help. In house entertainment was lovely, singers and quiz night an unexpected bonus. The location is definitely the best in Eastbourne. My sister and I are elderly and the daily walks on the Grand Parade and the Pier were managed easily. Town centre with lots of Charity Shops was another easy walk, with lots of outdoor cafes to stop and have a coffee. One of the lifts was being serviced, so sometimes had to wait a few minutes. Would have appreciated a bookcase with books to read and swap, and magazines and local maps to look at downstairs.

Fab location with parking! Great location with benefit of parking (there is a small fee). Bed is comfortable and room has all I need. The property is a dated and in need of a facelift. One of the elevators is not working due to a leak from the roof and has been broken for some time now. As the lift is very small and a lot of pensioners stay here, this is a problem.

Great stay even with nice weather in October Location was great, breakfast was superb, room was clean and tidy with great view. Being 3 floors up was a pain with one lift out of order and the other one not working properly

Lovely hotel with stunning sea views Lovely friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was clean and bright with a stunning sea view. Breakfast was excellent. The carpet needs attention, there is a join that has come up and could be a trip hazard. The water pressure was very low so the shower wasn't great.

Great for a trip to the seafront, wouldn't dine again but would definitely stay again. The location was fantastic, you cross the road and you are at the pier. The room was lovely, nice and renovated and a very spacious bathroom, great for a couples getaway. It was nice that there was entertainment provided, I thought that was a really good option to have and I also really liked that they had a bar looking out onto the seafront as well as the restaurant. Staff were also really lovely, every single staff member I spoke to had great customer service and a willingness to help even though it looked as though they were being worked really hard. The room came with a coffee machine but it didn't work, that was just a small thing. Our room was right next to the only working lift in the building, so we had no need for a wake up call as noisy neighbours woke us up at 6AM having a laugh by the lift. Not too bad in the grand scheme of things. The stairwell was in disrepair, and a lot of the building looked like it needed work but judging from our room which was lovely, I'm guessing this is in progress. The parking was full up by the time we got there, there was no signposting on how to get to the car park either online or when travelling which was pretty stressful. It was on a one way road so we did have to loop back over and over to find it and then to see if the on street spaces there were free, but none were. If this happens to you, there's a multi storey called Trinity Car Park, you can just go in there for overnight and then it's only 5 minute walk to the hotel. The breakfast I wished we didn't pay for as it was really disorganised, silly things like no clean tables and no clean plates for the buffet, it made me not want to go up again as it was all a big faff. Felt really embarrassing moving from table to table because we were being told the area we had chosen to sit was closed off (no signs or anything and nobody told us when we were instructed to choose our own seat), I think just by leading people to available seating that could be prevented.

Happy helpful staff, better quality food would have made it an excellent stay We were upgraded to superior twin and it was excellent. WE liked the extras nice hot chocolate, very nice biscuits and two bottles of water nearly every day. The view of the sea was brilliant. The lighting in the bedroom could have been better. It would have been nice to have had the bathroom wiped out everyday. The menu got a little boring as it was repeated every 3/4 days and limited a salad would've been a nice option. There is a long outstanding issue with a non working lift. The working lift did play up a couple of times but luckily it did not affect us.

Pleasant staff who work hard great location but let down by company not spending money to give them a great working envi Property location is great Property is now showing its age and although most need some decoration certain areas are in urgent need of redecoration . Visited also earlier in year and surprised to see lift still out of order . Certain things such as toilet seats not secured properly and extractor in bathrooms looked like not cleaned for years .

Lovely stay and beautiful company. Location was superb. No power in the shower, it was more of a drip. The breakfast cutlery ie the bottles of milk and small glasses for juices were stained, all of them, they didn’t look clean .

What a fabulous stay right on the seafront secure parking around the back costs £6 for 24hrs which is well worth it its a massive old victoriana building on front across from the pier reception staff friendly and do what they can to make your stay bar with sea views and restaurant with views lounge area and stage lifts are old fashionable but perfectly fine our room was on 2nd floor with twin beds desk coffee facilities and chairs plus wardrobe clean white bedding and towels big shower in bathroom and clean toilet all u need while your there
Yes it's old fashionable however its clean and adequate for the money we will be back.

A wonderful setting for a short stay in Eastbourne. The location and grandeur of the building was perfect. The bed was really comfortable and the sea views lovely. The layout of the bathroom was a little awkward and might be hard for people with limited mobility to get in and out of the bath/shower. The breakfast arrangement wasn’t great. We were moved from the table we wanted near the windows to a pokier table towards the rear.
