Amazing had the best room, staff were always helpful, happy and welcoming. Perfect , central for the town ,restaurants local cafes and lovely walks all the way along the seafront and pier. Bar meals were really good,Breakfast wasn’t so good, sausages were really greasy the scrambled egg had the strangest texture, just wasn’t enjoyable.

My conference stay. The location was great, easy walking to the winter garden's, parking on site. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice. The bars were very competitively priced. Not as clean as I expected, room wasn't cleaned during my stay. There was only 1 lift available and the hotel was full. Most people had to use the stairs, cleanliness could be much better. The shower was only warm and not very good pressure.

Peaceful and enjoyable The location was great and we had a great room with a sea view and were upgraded to a superior twin room. The hotel is a beautiful building but it needs alot of work done partially the windows. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much to ask. We would stay again but the lift situation really needs reviewing for the amount of guests they have. See above.

Had a lovely long weekend at The Burlington Hotel with my friend..was good to see we could have single rooms without any supplementary charges. Rooms were adequate for our needs,a little tired but it’s an old building and we were happy with the cleanliness and facilities. The staff were amazing, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Note to management…the staff are a credit to your business, don’t lose them!!!
Breakfast was amazing, buffet with everything you can think of and very tasty. My friend and I ate at the bar room on our last evening and the food was delicious and my chicken ceasar salad was gorgeous. The staff make this hotel and we didn’t meet any staff member that wasn’t incredibly helpful. We will definitely return for another visit, couldn’t do much outside as weather was bad but next time we’ll look forward to going on the open topped bus and the train ride around the town.

This was our third stay at The Burlington and is now our "go to". Some earlier reviews are poor but we disagree. Ok, views out from the rear bedrooms are not great, overlooking a service road, the car park and lots of bird poo but this is a seafront hotel where there are many seagulls. Besides, it's inside that's important, if you want a nice view, pay more for a seaview. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Our only gripe is that the (walk in) shower took 10 minutes to warm up. The hotel is a little dated and the lift is tiny but we found everywhere clean and the staff helpful. The entertainment was good as is the location and it has a private car park. We will return.
