Outdated, couldn’t open the windows as pigeons sitting on window seal trying to get into the room, massive patch on ceiling looked like a bath had fallen through from above, the bathroom smelt of urine and the couple next door were having loud sex in the bathroom till 2 am !

Wasn't expecting a lot for the money we paid having stayed in other Eastbourne hotels we really enjoyed our stay staff all friendly and helpful building tired but was clean bonus of entertainment Saturday night female vocalist which we all enjoyed definitely will be returning

We had a lovely sea view room which was very spacious and clean. A nice selection of coffee including a coffee machine. Having a bottle of water each was a nice plus.
We have been to this Hotel on many occasions and the staff are all lovely, helpful and friendly and this is why we return. The Hotel is listed so I know this could be different to do but it was very windy on our first night and the old sash windows rattled and were draughty which stopped me giving a higher score. The breakfast was also limited if like me you do not eat a cooked English breakfast. However this would not stop me returning

It was a bit rundown, it was lovely for everything it had but in some areas there was carpet lifting. It could do with a refurb but that doesn’t take away from how lovely it was there!

We recently stayed at the Burlington Hotel, Eastbourne for the third time. Each time the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very good, especially the scrambled eggs! and it is in a great location on the seafront and close to the pier.

Spacious room with sea view overlooking the pier. Centrally located. Buffet breakfast was good. Bedding was clean.
The bedroom and especially the bathroom are not very clean. Thick dust and hair on shower ledge, thick dust on soap dispenser and top of picture, toilet dirty on the outside and under the inner rim, wall to the side of toilet was dirty, bin also dirty and the shower spray needs replacing. There were two large stains on the carpet in the bedroom and there were cobwebs around the window Bedroom very cold due to strong winds and the original sash windows not fitting properly. Also radiator cold on the top and needs bleeding so room not being heated. Door to the smaller lift was banging right outside our bedroom door.
More thorough regular cleaning and some simple maintenance would really help!

Breakfast was brilliant as I am gluten intolerant and there was even a special toaster so I could do my own toast. I have not rated the staff using the ‘manic’ icon as that seems over the top. They were all efficient and effective. Room also good: all facilities were clean and usable.

Just returned from a weekend away with friends (2 couples). We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel based on the budget price we paid via booking.com. We booked a standard room and it was very spacious with everything we needed including kettle with supplies of tea/coffee, sugar and milk. It was very clean throughout. Buffet all you can eat breakfast was really good and included cereal, toast, croissants, pain au chocolat fruit as well as cooked breakfast items. Paid for car park for hotel residents directly behind the hotel, very handy. We found all staff, whatever role, to be friendly, helpful and attentive. For any guests who like a bit of bling, check out the silver/crystal jewellery display cabinet near reception if you want to treat yourselves. Great location for the town centre - 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

I was awoken in a morning to the wonderful views overlooking the pier.
The staff their are attentive and have great customer service. A huge thanks to the Operations Manager and to Nicci, Sarah, Sophie, Jack, Danielle, Joe, Tom and Eathan for making me feel welcome in Eastbourne.
The breakfast buffet, offers a choice for everyone.
I was staying in a superior double with sea view and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Thank you also to Victor, Beatrice and eva in housekeeping aswell as their teams for keeping the rooms so lovely.

Everything in the Burlington is excellent . Staff go out of their way to help you and so polite too.
Nothing bad in the Burlington. Only thing we don't like is having to pay by card but that's the norm now.
