Overall, it is a good place for work The hotel is old, but the facilities are modern, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. I was afraid it would be noisy due to the location, but it turned out quiet enough for work. I got a lot done The central heating was constantly on, making the room too hot. Even with the window open and the fan on, it was uncomfortable.

Good hotel, comfortable quiet in excellent position. Both near to town centre snd overlooking the se Didn’t have breakfast Room rather hot which meant we had windows open all night - rather waste of energy in these tricky times.

Staff was lovely and welcoming Only thing that wasn't good was we didn't have any soap or shower gel and I did ask the manger for some but didn't get any

This property is very tired and could do with a lick of paint. The lifts are old and a little temperamental, one being a coffin lift only really for one or two at a squeeze. Breakfast nice.
The rooms are adequate have tea/coffee everything you need, luxuries no. Not the biggest of rooms or bathrooms. The location is great, the view was good. Staff helpful and polite. Parking which is a bonus. Would I stay again, yes most probably as only for one night.

The hotel is large and ungainly and is very tired and in need of serious refurbishment, that being said if you just need a bed for the night at a good price then it is OK. The bedroom and bath room were clean and tidy but again tired and need updating.

The staff however were very helpful and pleasant with nothing being to much trouble and they deserve all the praise they get.

Lovely hotel, very relaxing atmosphere very good for the price. Very helpful staff, food was plentiful, good selection and hot. Great view of the seafront and pier. Huge room, nice decor the only thing that let it down was the cleanliness especially the windows.

The staff were very friendly and generally very helpful. The location of of the hotel is great, right on the seafront, and there is hotel parking at the rear. The breakfast was good, buffet self service. The hotel is 'tired', especially the rooms. The bedroom was cold in the evening; we phoned the reception, they said they would send up a heater but it never arrived.

Overall I was comfortable & have stayed here a few times. Location The size of the room (single) the narrow bit between the dressing table & bedside cabinet, I kept catching my hip as I walked past. Also the TV position is very awkward as it’s wonky.

Disadvantages were that the room was a little bland, grey and bare and extremely hot at night but breakfast was good, great to be right on the sea front and parking available for modest fee. Plenty of lounge, bar and conservatory space .Also a very reasonable offer price wise so can't really complain.

Enjoyable, great value place to stay for a short break, that is in the middle of Eastbourne. Staff were great, very friendly, couldn't do enough for us. Hotel is a bit old (but it is Eastbourne!). Value for money was amazing. Location excellent. Having a car park too was a bonus, for £6 per day and easy system to pay (just pay reception, whenever). Accommodated our dog very well; cost was a standard £10 per night for him. Our bed was on the small size - I think a small Queen-sized bed. Bathroom was cramped, just enough roof for a toilet, sink and shower - they need to move the toilet roll holders onto another wall as you can't sit down without them digging into you.
