The lady who worked there was rude without any reason.

Decent enough hotel, especially for the price point it’s well located on the seafront and close to town centre. The room could have done with a deeper clean, but it wasn’t dirty with clean bedding and a stocked bathroom. However our room was absolutely boiling - even with the radiator off (outside temperature was -2) we had to keep the windows open and a fan on in order to make the room a temperature that could be slept in

Beautiful place shame about the bed The lady and the front desk was super nice and polite, every where was clean, views are amazing The mattress on the bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable couldn’t sleep as felt like I was going to roll off the bed

A lovely overnight stay and would definitely stay there again if I was in the area . Location was great with a fantastic view of the pier and sea . First appearances can be a bit misleading but the room was excellent , contemporary , very large as was the bed . Breakfast was good value . Only minor gripes like the floorboards in the corridor outside our room creaking badly and personally I prefer a softer mattress .

Not sure I would stay there again. Good location Lot of noise from water dripping, someone staying in the room above who seemed to be moving furniture around to the early hours of the morning. Someone smoking in the hallway. Lift needed decorating, looked like it hadn't been done for a very long time. Whole hotel needed updating.

Perfect location, lovely old hotel, staff was helpful, kind. Just a minor thing, there was no usb plug to charge our phones on the room, but we could charge them at reception desk. We had one of the oldest rooms on top, other rooms had it, as we were told. But the view was more than this.

Beautiful, big sea front hotel. Very concerned when online check in was not working and couldn’t get hold of hotel but there wasn’t anything to worry about as staff on site.
Great location, traditional Victorian (I believe) building and representative of the local area. Has a holiday feel as sea views and lots of coach parties.

I often stay at the Burlington hotel in Eastbourne. It is friendly and comfortable hotel it also has character. Nothing . Everything is as it should be. No it is not like the premier in, which in my view seems impersonal. It is comfortable and clean and welcoming.

A good, warm room at the end of days wandering in the cold. No trouble at all on arrival and departure. Able to chat about Eastbourne "in the old days". Remarkably, in very cold weather, the heating was TOO WARM. Sub-zero temperatures outside, and I was obliged to open a window to moderate it.

Location was good, room was clean and comfortable. Parts of the hotel where a little dated and run down but this is to be expected for a hotel of this age and for the price we paid was very good value. Can't think of anything in particular.
