Great location, very clean Got woken up with loud music from the kitchen, being played directly below our room, at 7.30 am every morning.

Hotel is a little shabby but my single room was very clean, bed comfortable.
Very good value for what I paid, didnt have breakast here so cant say what its like.
Parking at the back is 6pds a day, no prebooking first come first served, even if you have paid and leave carpark for the day no guarantees you will have a space on return...hotel dont own carpark just manage payment for guests. Hotel right on the front, plenty of good places to eat within minutes walk...

Ok. Liked the are. Very near transport. Shops restaurants. Room was far too hot . We had to keep the window open.
Breakfast was the worst we have ever had in a hotel.

The staff. All of them were helpful and nice. The room, though clean and had new fitting, but looked as if the renovation is needed.

Oh, we did like being beside the seaside We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional. The location was great and very close to good restaurants. We're looking forward to staying there again. The shower didn't work very well and the TV remote only worked intermittently.

Crumbling, magnificent, quirky and cheap. It may be falling down, and the taps in the bathrooms may not always match, but it's such a great building and the price is so low that it would be foolish to complain. If it's busy, the buffet breakfast is the icing on the cake. Try to get a sea view if you can. It wasn't the first time that I had to drag the bed across the room in order to be near a wall socket. At least they're on wheels.

Lovely hotel, just a few small room adjustments required. Lovely, large, clean room with stunning sea view. Tasty breakfast with good selection. Friendly, welcoming, attentive staff. No plug sockets near bed. Nowhere to put towels - the towel rail was above the toilet, not nice location, and too high so I couldn't use it. Bathroom holders wouldn't dispense the soap.

Stayed for four nights as a break away. The hotel being grade 2 listed means it’s at an age the requires a constant main Spacious room
24hr reception
Fantastic staff
Right by the pier with amazing views
Great value for money
A bit dated
Lacking some basic maintenance

Great location and staff. Yes it’s tired. But see past that and enjoy the value.

The hotel has an ambience of faded grandeur! However, my room was clean, warm and comfortable. Although not sold as a sea view room, it had a wonderful sea view from the side. of the building. For the price, I thought it was incredible value. Nothing .

The staff were so kind and supportive, this made my stay really comfortable. The building is quirky and speaks of a bygone age which adds to the break for me- I noticed in other reviews of negative remarks about the challenges the hotel faces maintaining a building like this opposite the sea with all that coastal conditions throw at it, but the hotel was 0n the case with timely repairs after storm Isha, and they still keep positive, Well dine!

Highly recommend, nice and clean rooms.
Small double is what you'd expect, bit fifdicilt getting in and out of the bathroom. Wouldn't suit a larger or disabled person.
Superior double is really big and spacious.
Family room is superb. Big bay window overlooking the pier. Separate single room.
The prices for the rooms are unbelievably cheap. Would stay again!! 👌

The staff were very helpful and hard working. They were short staffed at breakfast but other staff covered and the staff were efficient and polite....even when being moaned at by other guests. No teapots....just lukewarm tea and coffee from flasks. Only scrambled eggs...no choice of eggs. (These are small issues but you asked for feedback!)
