We are happy, it’s good value of money and the room is clean. It is seafront, very convenient for watching the sunrise and have morning walk along the coast. It’s is very near the city center too. There are many restaurants and take ways. The hotel is old, the lift is old but they are kept clean.

It was a room for the night. The location, it is on the sea front and a short walk to the town centre. There is a private car park which at this time of year did have a space available. The communal parts were clean and maintained. Please Note: Room may reflect the fact that I had a discounted (genius level) rate. Solo traveller.
Though the room was large it was dull with dusty skirting boards and carpet edges. It overlooked a service road and the backs of other buildings. The once white net curtains were grey with age. The mattress was very old with no mattress protector, just a thin sheet. The sink and bath taps dripped constantly, the bath had yellow limescale stains from the dripping taps. A very small TV about 17 inches I would say, but it did have a good picture quality.

Lovely, well kept building and very helpful staff. We had a small double room which was nice. The evening meals weren't brilliant.

Brilliant staff. Especially Nicky. Great rooms, views, location, etc. Hotel can do with a lick of paint as it were. But nothing wrong with it if you're not too fussy or finicky. All clean and tidy and comfy.

This was the third time we have stayed at The Burlington and is our go to hotel in Eastbourne. Excellent location, value for money, fantastic customer service and rooms. Always a great break away when staying here. Well done Burlington, keep up the brilliant work and see you again in a few months time!

Reception staff were very pleasant
Hotel is tired and in need of investment unfortunately, however, this reflects on the price and what I paid for four nights was a bargain !!

Excellent value for money and decent breakfast, comfy bed . It’s a lovely old hotel with its features and ideal location by the Pier Floorboards were very creaky , so when someone got up in the night woke the other guest, but kind of something you can’t avoid in a big old hotel.

No sleep as too hot even with rads off. Go often. Sadly Hotel heating uncontrollable spoiled sleeping. Too hot in property.

Basic but cheap Location and price. The rooms are very basic and a bit dated. SOME of The staff are extremely rude and couldn’t care less about anything. I didn’t realise I had booked a room for with two single beds (small print) so I asked could we please get a double bed and the guy behind the desk simply said and I quote “ no we are fully booked. Or pay extra”
Definitely we’re not fully booked as I called from upstairs to ask and also how could I have paid extra if fully booked. It was 9pm at night.

The biggest complaint is that it was too hot! It's January so was expecting a big old building to be nippy. Had to open the window and turn the radiator off in our room. I'm general good value for not a lot of money.
