The hotel is at nice location next to the sea.
The lift has a capacity of 8 people, but we struggled to fit in 4 people, a dog and a couple bags.
I wouldn't say that the room was the biggest in the world.
The staff quite friendly and helpful.
If I had to choose something that was the most inconvenient I would say that the lift and stairs where quite a distance away room the room, causing quite a trek to travel between the two.

The breakfast was good, and a good selection of food. I also thought the staff were very good and helpful, especially with my dogs.
We booked for evening meal, but was not happy the main dinner, it was nothing like Hunters chicken, it was dried up and the chips, could have been better. I also thought for the price we paid our room could have been cleaner , particularly around the windows they were in a bad way and very dirty, plus I think there should have been biscuits in the room, as most of the places I stay at have them , I'm also a cleaner, so I know how id like to leave my holiday let's.

Requested an accessibility room but was put in a room that had a small bathroom with a step to get in. Complained to receptionist and was moved to an accessibility room. Why they couldnāt do that in the first place I donāt know. The disabled access to building was through a fire door that had shattered glass in the door that was taped up. To get in the building there was a bell but it never got answered so I had to leave my partner outside the door in her wheelchair while I walked to the main entrance and through the building to open door myself. The car park looked like a bit of waste land behind the building and had no disability parking. Sat in the bar area for evening drink but had to keep taking partner to our room for the toilet because thereās no disabled toilets.

I requested a room on the first floor with a Juliette balcony. (Obviously there is no access to the balcony, but nevertheless, I like the open aspect of the taller windows). The staff put us on the third floor and completely dismissed my written requests. On a previous occasion, the manager was fantastic, on checking in, we explained our wishes and he gave us a room on the first floor! This time, however, the staff were not prepared to listen. We have been to this hotel a few times, so I would have hoped that they would value our custom and give us what we asked for.

Perfect location, gorgeous hotel and excellent staff.
From our arrival at the Burlington everything was perfect. Beautiful location right on the sea front. Your staff are exceptional everyone was really friendly. The room was beautiful. The breakfast spot on best scrambled eggs ive had in a long while. We got upgraded to an even better room which wasn't expected but was really lovely. You have a beautiful hotel with exceptional staff would definitely recommend your hotel to any one visiting Eastbourne.

Perfect
Fab hotel stayed two nites & all was perfect comfortable room so clean !! Fab staff, Fab breakfast !!! Being right on the beach front you couldn't ask for anything else and so close as in right in walking distance to the town centre !! Perfect the Burlington Hotel is now our No 1 go to hotel for staying in Eastborne !!

The hotel is dated but we expected that after looking into how old the hotel actually was. The decor is nice, they have some fantastic photos of the local area.
They had entertainment that wasn't really our taste but worked well for the hotel and the other guest.
The staff were very welcoming, they were very helpful. The bar staff were great, especially the lady who seemed like she might be in charge of the bar. We didn't eat at the hotel but could smell breakfast and we were a little jealous.
The staff were very accommodating when our travel plans were cancelled and we had to stay another night, we didn't stay in the same room (our first one had an amazing veiw) but the second room was lovely too. The beds are comfortable, the rooms were clean and we couldn't have asked for more.

Excellent location and facilities at a reasonable price
The hotel upgraded us to a sea view free of charge. The staff at the hotel were excellent, especially the Reception staff. Very professional and friendly and very helpful. The inside of the hotel was nice and modern

Weekend stay
The room was very clean and comfortable. Food excellent, special shout out to Lewis and Trevor for their care and attention.
Also to Noelle who was so lovely, and amazing treatment in the spa The room was very warm. Now I like my heat but it was very warm, even when I opened the window.
It was a bit of a surprise the spa was actually a different building to the hotel.
