It is a very central location and we managed to get a parking space in their private carpark. We couldn't close the bedroom curtains as parts had come off the runner. It wasn't too bad as we were there in February so it was a bright early morning sunrise. I also had to DIY the bathroom handle as it was loose.

For what we wanted very acceptable but could have been better. Never had these problems before. Superior Rooms with sea views always nice, bot that I would call them superior, but very nice and very spacious, although we booked 3 rooms and all very different. Bathroom in one a bit grubby round handle and one shower did not work. But good value for what we paid. Security very poor bearing in mind some of the "residents". People obviously on benefits or homeless being accommodated and able to run riot along the corridors at night, trying doors. And finding out "they" pay only £29.90 per night !! Not very fair. Surely there are more suitable places to accommodate them. And virtually lighting up cigarettes in the lift ! And not necessarily tobacco!

Eastbourne Burlington hotel Staff & location were wonderful. Faded grandeur was apparent, was a beautiful building once Room needs repairs. Windows very old, rattly & felt dangerous to open, toilet wouldn't flush. No food/snacks available after bar closes.

Will definitely be back Beautiful view, comfy bed and lovely staff. I do realise it’s an old building but it could do with a better paint job and carpets.

The staff were lovely, all very helpful and very smiley. The room was large and very clean, bed was comfortable.. shower worked well and hotel was lovely inside. Very good value for money and a great buffet breakfast. The lift was a little temperamental but worked every time we used it, the door to our room was a little stiff. Curtain was slightly off the track when we got there but we reported it and it was dealt with straight away.

overpriced but not bad Location, buffet breakfast, complimentary coffee, biscuits and two bottled water , our room was looked fresh , believe some cosmetic works being done so will count as a + , I do believe on new comfy mattress and beds, BTW WiFi isn’t that much offers . The hotel is really old a basically Ive heard ever single steps and words, superior double room N136 was without view and with annoying water pipes sounds all night long, but was to tired to pay much attention, parking is £6 on the top of £95 for room? Really? Disappointed , BTW if you bring your dog , get ready to pay additional £10 per night , check out before 10am , check in from 14pm , room was a bit dark

Schönes altes Hotel direkt an der Strandpromenade von Eastbourne. Etwas angestaubter Charme. Gutes Frühstück. Akzeptabele Preise. Very british.
Könnte mal renoviert werden.

Hotel looks tired both internally and externally. Even though the room was reasonably priced elements were disappointing. Bathroom was tiny. Limescaled shower, chipped tiles, marks on the wall. Perfect location by the sea, but the hotel needs an overhaul.

Room was nice and was cheap Room was miles away and we had lots of belongings with no offer of help.
Staff wouldn't match online price when paid in cash.
We booked again online with you the following morning to stay again and the hotel cancelled it and now have to wait to be refunded and we had to move all our stuff.
There was no remote control for the tv

Great value and very convenient for Theatre. Free parking at back of hotel which was a bonus and a tasty buffet breakfas Very good value for money. Good sized room with comfortable beds. Decent hot buffet breakfast. Quite tired and in need of a refurb. Toilet roll holder broken. Dinner a bit processed but ok.

Staff are super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic buffet. All items well cooked & toaster was quick. Some general maintenance badly needed to bring up to better standard of decoration. Bed was comfy, sheets & towels spotless. Nice view from room 110. Would stay again. Belgian Cafe next door was very good.

Short break. Nice hotel for money but disappointed at not being able to relax. Great location friendly staff Room was far too hot. Turned heating off window open. Still too hot. Unbearable. Unable to sleep.
Mattress was hard. Very uncomfortable.
Noticed on the ceiling there was a dirty make up cottonwool pad stuck to the ceiling. Disgusting! Informed staff upon leaving.
