Nice and clean. Very good breakfast. Paid for upgrade including tea and coffee. Only one spoon and only brown sugar. I drink tea, wife drank coffee.brown sugar in tea is not good.
Also 2 small waters only lasted for one cup each. Had to go out and purchase more bottles as it was not replenished by staff.
Car park charge of 6 pound a day is very wrong.. it should be free or low cost for guests.

The hotel was great, the room was nice a spacious and the staff were friendly. The only problems we had was the hot water in the bathroom was not very hot and not enough milk for the 2 days we were there, did ask at reception but didnt seem to have any. But we still had a nice time away and the price we paid was brilliant.

Value for money - pity the noise from the party spoiled it. The staff were very helpful. Breakfast was splendid. The room was comfortable and very clean.
Car parking is easy, location is wonderful.
The stairway needs renovation (carpets etc) Fire doors are too fast closing, making them bang shut.
A very noisy party somewhere in the hotel during the night made me quite anxious.

Great location, Great price. Location was great. Parking lot was easy to use and a good price for 24 hrs (£6). The place is older and could use a refresh, but for the price I paid it matched my expectations. If you want a place with a great location and friendly staff but don’t want to pay a fortune, this is the place for you. The hotel likes to keep the temperature too hot. First night in the room we kept the window open the whole night and kept it open for the remainder of the stay. Thereafter the temperature was fine. Restaurant also kept an outside door open to try and keep the temperature down. Seems like a waste of energy and money to keep the place warmer than most people want it.

Perfect for what we needed. The location is perfect and right on the seafront.
The room was spacious and had a great sea view.
Nothing I didn’t like, but the property is old and could do with some modern repairs.

Location of hotel is excellent, on the seafront and close to town.
The staff were friendly and very helpful especially on the reception desk.
Some people coming back late at night could have been a bit quieter.

Lovely, clean, good decor. Comfortable bed, great hot shower. The location.
The room was lovely with high ceilings. Wonderful sea view.
The very tiny lift! It’s an old building so can’t be helped.

Location is good...very near to most of everything. Breakfast was good Our double bed was quite small for the two of us, scared to fall out of bed when you move, our room is quite distance to walk, you can hear the noise from.other room(guest) , the floor is squirky/noisy , carpet need more clean/tidy

We would return Excellent location and the breakfast was very good. The single room was very hot and unable to turn the radiator off, as it had no valve. Staff advised to use the green switch to turn it off. However, the single room did not have the green switch in it.

Enjoyable short break by the sea; the rather tired hotel worked well as a base for exploration. Public rooms clean and comfortable. Fair choice at buffet breakfast. Dinners served on the plate were fine. Bedroom size good. Small lifts worked OK.
Hotel chosen because of easy walk from the station and seafront location. The spectacular starling murmuration in the evening was clearly visible and a real holiday bonus.
Bathrooms at the end of their lifespan. Heavy mould around bottom of shower screen near taps. Shower very strange to operate and tended to drip. Sink and WC fittings tired. Room too hot even with radiator turned off - a fan was used (in February)! Window could not open so no ventilation. No fire exit guide by room door and no hotel information re mealtimes etc. The WiFi abysmal. Smokers left fag-ends on and around steps up to hotel entrance. Find somewhere else for smokers.

Worth it for the view. Good value Great location (worth paying extra for a sea view). Staying in a grade 2 listed building has ups and downs but the Burlington is what it is.
Room was clean, newish bathroom.
The hotel is a little tired. Carpets have seen a lot of use but it is an old hotel.
Smokers hanging around the entrance right next to the No Smoking signs is annoying but that isn't the hotel's fault.

Gert lush for not much! Property was in a great location. Lovely big room overlooking the sea with giant windows. Great shower and loads of room to ourselves. Staff were really lovely and super helpful. There’s honestly no way you could get this sort of room and location for that price so we feel absolutely spoiled! Sone noisy neighbours but that’s not the hotel’s fault. It’s a shame but it didn’t ruin our stay and the staff handled the other customers well.
