Stayed for three nights last week. Bedroom was clean, bathroom not quite so good. Breakfast was excellent, delicious and lots of choice, dinner always seemed a little rushed. I had taken one mouthful of my starter on the first night when my main arrived! Bar and ballroom with entertainment were very pleasant. We had a few requests during our stay, mainly because my companion had mobility issues and these were all dealt with. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel is showing its age and needs sone quite extensive improvements and a general tidy up to bring it line with other hotels in the town, and make the most of its excellent location, however we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Just wanted to say we had a really lovely time at this hotel staff are really wonderful and look after you very very well it’s a shame that the hotel is very tired and needs a little bit of tender loving care and I’m sure in time they will get there but the staff do make up for what is lacking in the hotel Grateful thanks for the way you looked after us the Irish club Leamington spa Tuesday club

Just come back from at great holiday , big room had a bath , a shower comfy bed , coffee machine , breakfast was nice lots of choice, the staff were fab , josh on the bar the receptionists the breakfast staff all were lovely definitely would stay here again made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in dont

One of the beautiful 😍 place from Eastbourne. You have panorama view. People are very politely and I find here the best food 🥝🍇🥝 from the town. The price are very good 🙂👍. Is very nice 👍😁 place to enjoy your holiday with your family or friends 🤣. The 🍻🍺 beer is very good.

Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, The room was clean and tidy apart from a few carpet marks. It was a spacious superior room with a sea view, unfortunately the lack of a mini fridge really let the room down as a superior. Breakfast was ok but nothing special, it was breakfast. Just a little bit expensive for just a weekend.

Upon arrival to our room there was a slight issue, we approached the manager and explained the situation, he was incredibly polite and before I'd barely given any details he immediately insisted on moving us into a different room. Once in the new room it was absolutely stunning and finished to a high quality. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious. The new air conditioned cocktail bar is lovely and we enjoyed the selection offered at breakfast

First visit to this hotel. A big hotel. Very out dated. Could be modernised. There is a separate parking at the back for hotel guest which is 6.00 for 1 night. Limited foor menu too. Staff were helpful.

We stayed here in 2021, we had a lovely, large airy room that had recently been refurbished. There is an excellent bar where the surroundings are very impressive, we enjoyed our Stay and would stay here again.

This hotel is located on the sea front only a few yards away from the pier and the buses offering round trips via Beachy head, Birling Gap and many more. At a steady walk of about fifteen minutes you can walk to the main shopping area. The hotel provides excellent meals and the bar prices are quite reasonable. There is no air-conditioning in the bedrooms at this hotel but electric fans are provided. Having stayed at this hotel a number of times we prefer the rooms on the back of the hotel which are cooler in high summer. On all of our visits we have found the rooms to quite spacious.

Stayed for one night only but would have been very happy to have stayed longer. A big old hotel, delightfully shabby in places but everywhere clean and tidy. Great view of famous Carpet Gardens and Pier. Some areas in hotel maybe need a bit of TLC soon but this shouldnt put anyone off staying. Reception staff all very helpful, especially Amelia. My single room on the top floor was spacious, I was delighted to get a seaview, even though I hadn't requested one, ensuite clean and bed very comfy. There was a fan in room which I made good use of during a warm evening. Plenty of electric sockets for charging phone, ipad etc. Bar and sunlounge good and a great place to relax. Self service breakfast excellent, plenty of choice, staff friendly and attentive. Following check-out I was able to store my suitcase in a locked room until my son arrived to collect me. I would very happily return to the Burlington again. Thank you.

A huge hotel right near the pier. Wonderful views. No aircon so the rooms and hallways were hot and stuffy. They put a fan in the room for us though but as it was a big room it wasn't that effective. Delays on check in as rooms weren't ready. Glad there was a place to put our bags, we went for a walk while waiting to for the room to be cleaned. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The finish in the bathroom was a bit messy but as I said, it was clean. Breakfast selection very good. Lots of guests so I'm pleased they regularly topped items up. Nice bar with great aircon to relax in. We also ate in there, the pie and vegetable curry were lovely. Staff are very busy and on the whole friendly apart from one incident where my husband was snapped at, but he received an apology and a complimentary drink. Dog friendly. Comfortable bed. Good selection of drinks and a kettle and coffee machine in the room. Hairdryer available. Nice room, furniture and decor. Table and chairs for sitting at the window at night looking out to sea. I would visit again.

Room - had a twin superior, clean, huge and you can open the windows along with a coffee machine.
Hotel rooms are warm but ask for a fan.
Breakfast-hot and very nice choices, bacon exceptional, nice tea and coffee.
Lifts can be dodgy and old but were fixed.
Close to shops, cafe’s and pier.
Thank you to Amelia the receptionist , funny and helpful and Danielle especially who gave up her fan for our room to save us waiting.
Loved our stay of 4 days here and will definately return to this hotel.

Lovely location.. but wasnt impressed with staff at reception when we arrived..was ignored at first then she just carried on eating while her and lad booked us in, neither of them friendly or welcoming. Lovely old building but in desperate need of painting and cleaning up... would be nice to have seen old pictures and history of the place in the foyer. Amazing breakfast.. so much to choose from and tasted delicious.
