I love The Burlington! I’ve just hosted an in-person networking event here for My Networking Club and I can’t fault it.
Nishant, the GM, and all of the staff are so helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Can’t wait for our next meeting in September!

Thoroughly impressed with this prime location hotel. Super clean and open spaces with a warm welcome from the management and staff, good service and great value food and drink (especially in the current climate). We will be back!

I went to the Burlington, with Shearings.Going was bad from Watford. From Cobham change over very good.Driver was friendly, spoke to us occasionally. The time there at Hotel was ok in some ways. The breakfast was good.Evening meals not so nice, supposed to be fresh vegs.We are sure they were tinned.Service was reasonable.Staff were good.My room was very small, very disappointing!.Not enough places to put my clothes away.Had to keep most in my case all 4 days.Room not cleaned, had to ask for towels to be changed. From Tue to Friday when we left.Room never done.I wiped my window and tissue was black.!.I did not bother to say anything. As I felt they were not bothered.Even coach driver said it had changed there. Also lots of people staying were complaining during the few days there too.The entertainment we had was very good.Glad to get back home.

We stayed one night in Eastbourne when watching the tennis. Although the hotel is in need of some TLC the room was very spacious, clean with crisp linen. The staff were all extremely cheerful and Sarah on reception was most helpful regarding some medication which needed to be stored in a fridge. Very good breakfast. Parking was perfect and Devonshire park was a short walk away along the front.

The Burlington is across the road from the pier with sea views from the dining room. The staff were lovely. Small bar with a conservatory style view of the esplanade. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast included was hot and cold. Ben the operation manager was welcoming and always available to help out.

If you are looking for an affordably priced room in an older beach front hotel that has a warm, welcoming atmosphere then it is well worth a try. Some of the overly fussy reviews are frankly misleading so check it out for yourself & you may be pleasantly surprised. The friendly team will ensure you have a pleasant stay. The sheets & towels were lovely & clean & the room met basic needs & was functional & fine for anyone on a tight budget. The very generous buffet style breakfast was really delicious. Sea view rooms are available as are quieter rooms at the back & the shore is a stones' throw away across the seafront road, from the main entrance. For singletons & those needing to stretch their funds it has character & a faded elegance other more modernised establishments do not. I enjoyed my stay there in the late Spring & would stay there again happily. Sarah of Gems.

Perfect location. Booked a superior sea view room for a reasonable price. The view was first class, and the room was a lovely size with the high ceilings. The room and ensuite was clean and presentable. Nice selection of condiments in the room.
Only negative things I would say is the decor elsewhere in the hotel were a little run down/outdated and could do with some paint and new carpets but all was clean. It's an old building with alot of character, so there was alot of creaking - we were woken early in the morning by the guests in the upstairs room moving around and creaking the floorboards. No fault of theirs of course but something to keep in mind if you are a light sleeper.
Overall a nice hotel for a short break right next to the sea, pier and all the local shops and restaurants you could ask for. Staff were all very kind and friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble. Of course I can only speak for the superior room so have no idea what the standard rooms were like. I would return there if visiting Eastbourne again.
