Lovely old hotel right by the pier would Def recommend although room was very warm staff very friendly .Food was very good and reasonably priced . Only prob I found was water in the shower didn't go down over all had a great trip would definitely stay again .

Great check. Spacious room overlooking the downs. Pillows need to be fluffier. But they came up with a spare, so no problem. Good bedding comfy bed

Really good location, adequate breakfast. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Nice sea view in some of the rooms.
My parents were told on the phone that they would be able to park in the car park for free because they have a blue badge, but on arrival were told that they needed to pay the £6/night because it's not actually the hotels car park.

the room was big & roomy and it did have a front facing sea view, which i was not expecting. only usually when you hotels say sea view it's either from a side room or a view if you stand on a chair.
late evening, it was warm so we went out the front for some fresh air & it was a struggle to breath with all the smoke & smokers in & out. it was like a smokers hut, was a shame.

This is an old hotel and fairly updated .very clean and tidy. Staff excellent - friendly and helpful
Brekfast good. However exactly same on buffet on both mornings! Only scrambled eggs - no fried or poached. It was enough - but needs more variety

The buffet style breakfast was not to my liking only done scrambled eggs and not hot at all.., and the bar snacks were like frozen meals not cooked fresh as you’d expect, some bar staff members were not very patient with other guests. Very noisy at nights due to loud music and arguments into the early hours of the morning… 4 hours sleep most nights

The Burlington was fine for our requirements but it needs a lot of TLC if we were to stay again.
Downstairs was very spacious and plenty of seating to sit in (when there isn’t entertainment!)
Everywhere is looking tired and in need of a new coat of paint and new carpet.

Fabulous location right near the pier. Lovely view and waking up to sound of the waves (and seagulls). Great staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Eastbourne Airshow 2024
Sea front view 😍 we stayed in the superior room to watch the airshow 2024 and the view was superb from our room.
There is no air con in the room. Room windows and balconies were not clean .

The hotel enjoys the best location, in my opinion, in Eastbourne. Opposite the pier and beach and close to the town centre. Rooms are basic but perfectly ok. The hotel had a singer on but I could only endure more than one song so decided to take our drinks to the nice “indoor balcony” overlooking the beach. But others did enjoy it.
The big thing that lets this hotel down is breakfast. It was terrible, cheap ingredients, rubbish back, plastic sausage, no butter, bad coffee. I complained and was simply told head office source the supplier.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I would go back but next time room only!
