Great hotel with plenty of charm
The room was a lovely size with a very comfortable bed (superior, sea view), the view of the sea and pier was great, the windows needed a good clean (inside and out) that would have been nice... the breakfast was nice, a good choice and nice and hot
The windows are very old (sash type) and allow quite a lot of outside noise in, the rooms above have very squeaky floorboards, the windows needed a good clean, inside and out

The room was i long distance from the lift and the lady i was with was not very well so I had to take all the luggage on my own a lot of work as lift was a long way from room

Cost performance is good, included diner and breakfast. Room and bed are small,
Writing desk is leaning down, not parallel.
Shampoo liquid fixed in bathroom is not enough, almost empty,
so we used our shampoo.
Need to ameliorate the dinner quality

The room was tucked away in the back of the hotel and very outdated. I could barely get any phone service and the WiFi didn’t seem to work either. Conveniently located and very cheap room but you get what you pay for

The room was adequate for the money I paid however the room was at the back of the property, near a fire escape so there was not much natural light in the room.
The bathroom could have done with a basic refurbishment as it had a very old marked wash basin and the tiles were very old.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff were fabulous and we will be returning.
Brilliant location, everything within easy walking distance. Had a nice meal in the hotel restaurant one night and the bar the other night. Both meals were lovely. Every single member of staff were exemplary, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted. Entertainment both nights was very good as well. We will be returning.
Some parts of the hotel are getting a little tired, but it’s a very old building and maintenance must be a costly nightmare.
