The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They found mislaid mobile and kept it safe all day. I was given a room upgrade from 4th to second floor. The room was a good size and was clean. Good choice of food at Breakfast buffet. Good location. The building is in a state of refurbishment so some inconsistencies with condition and decor. Only one lift was working and stair carpet had seen better days. Some peeling paint in areas. The outside of the building needs updating especially the windows and window surrounds as many were rotten.

Very ideal!! Not that bad... The proximity to the beach! Full English breakfast and the range of breakfast options, the proximity to public transport! Space to sit to avoid the heat outside , even though we had checked out at 10am. And of course to use free WiFi during that time.. kept my 8 year old occupied!! I know it's an old Victorian building, don't know why some people are complaining about it here on the reviews.. yes it needs slight retouching to maintain the original features... But not that bad!!
Pelican crossing in front of the entrance to the esplanade would be helpful!!

2 nights in Eastbourne Breakfast was good, but fried eggs should be an option. Nice light dining room. Excellent location. Piping hot water in the room. Very narrow and dark bathroom. Room door didn't feel secure when going out. Could easily be shoved open.

Tacky seaside hotel with acceptable rooms The view out over the pier is excellent.
Superior Twin room was spacious.
The beds were very clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was clean and modern.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff were very nice and efficient.
Reception area is scruffy. Lift is scruffy. Second lift broken. 4th floor passageway smelled awful! Carpets very dirty.
Evening meal (fixed menu £20) was average. 4star hygiene rating.

This is the third time we stayed at the Burlington this year. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Sarah was also very welcoming and was always willing to help in any way. Thank you. We also like the Burlington as it is ideally situated on the seafront. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We enjoyed staying at the Burlington, all staff lovely, breakfast buffet was superb, when we visit family again in Eastb It’s so convenient for seafront, and town centre, and has its own car park Could do with a paint job, but we saw workmen doing jobs in the reception at the time of our stay
