Staff were great, breakfast was great value for money and a good selection to choose from. Parking very convenient and close location to the town centre with the bonus of a seaview and the beach and pier literally across the road. Couldn't turn the heating down so the room was like a sauna, opened all the windows but then experienced all the noise out in the street.

Incredible value, friendly staff and 10/10 location. Don’t expect luxury but a very good standard for their pricing Excellent value, car park very useful and good value, Reception team friendly & efficient, room no frills but clean and had everything you need. Perhaps there is a smoking area near room 324, where I stayed, as I could smell this frequently.
Otherwise this hotel is incredible value.

Great location, comfortable but needs some refurbishment Location was excellent. Member of staff in restaurant at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable with crisp cotton. Needs refurbishing. Room was reasonably clean, grubby door in the bathroom, but sanitary ware spotlessly clean. Staff on reception could be friendlier and more welcoming

Didn't like the main lift not being available, no wheelchair access or ladies toilets on the ground floor. Brilliant sea view and hotel well situated.

Amazing Room was large and spaces had everything we needed like tea coffee and milk TV working perfectly and bathroom was lovely Loved everything except for some cobwebs on the bathroom window which clearly have not been removed in a while because the blind on the bathroom seems to always be down

Sophie and Jess were excellent and so helpful.

We stayed fot New Years Eve and had a great time.

The breakfast is fantastic. Really worth going.

We had a view over the pier. It was awful weather and the wind hammered the sash windows. A comfortable room with a great view.

Although it was very cold outside no one prepared us for the temp in the room lol proper face melter.
There has been a lick of paint since our last stay which looks great.
Only one lift that’s meant to hold 4 people or in my my case just one and hope I don’t set the alarms off

Great location, good hotel, lovely staff. Will definitely stay here again Basic but everything you needed for an over night stay The pillows were flat and the room was overly hot, even though the heating wasnt on. Opened the windows but still couldnt get any air.

It was New years eve. The hotel did a fantastic job. Entertainment was great. It was Andrew. Staff worked so hard to make it a really good night. Shout out to Sarah on reception too. She made sure everything was good for us.

Staff lovely, food lovely however had to move rooms as the windows wouldn’t shut properly so freezing and windy in the room. Receptionist lovely and quickly upgraded us to a bigger room. Similar issue with one of the windows so had to use a towel to cover the draft. Very dated throughout but room itself did the job. Ate in the bar for lunch and dinner as found the restaurant menu very limiting. Also no mention of cost and seems to be a set menu which all gets charged to your room. Would I stay again? Maybe in the summer as the winter weather was the main issue with the window situation I think.

The bathroom was freezing as same issue with window in there. Draft coming through all night

Again cannot fault the staff. Efficient and attentive. Would come back for them alone .

The Burlington Hotel is like an elderly Aunt, very tired, needs a lot of money spent on it to make it more comfortable. The ancient sash windows need replacing especially in the front of the building. We spent our last evening
there sat in a mini gale. The radiator in our room didn't work so a mobile radiator was supplied The carpet in our room was very dirty. However, having decided we couldn't spend the night in such a cold room, the receptionist kindly moved us to a superior, renovated room at the rear of the building which wasn't getting the wind coming through the window.
Car parking, even though we had to pay for it, was at the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was usual buffet. Staff friendly and helpful. Building needs tlc.

Wanted to get away for a cheap winter weekend break and this hotel and the price were perfect.
Positioned opp the pier, next to the town centre, thus big old palatial Victorian hotel was perfect. There might not be any major thrills but at less than £50 per night incl breakfast, you really can’t go wrong! And the staff were lovely, the rooms clean and the whole hotel, very warm, which was most appreciated on a bitterly cold, but beautiful romantic tinged weekend. Thankyou.

The best hotel for location I’ve stayed at in Eastbourne. Wonderful location, right on the seafront, opposite the pier, room had a beautiful sea view, lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Limited dinner menu (particularly for a fussy child) but breakfast was great, with plenty of choice.

Unexpectedly nice 2 day visit to Eastbourne. Old hotel but excellent value for what we paid. Position to beach and town. Built in late 1800’s refurbishment taking place. Huge dining room, ballroom and bar. Sea view rooms enormous. Pleasantly surprised with our visit. Nice full English and very nice evening dining. Staircases could have done with a Hoover.

Perfect Amazing price for a lovely hotel. Rare to find a hotel in the location with its own parking also so made the stay easy. Have continued to now stay here on each visit after trying many in this location, plus an amazing price
