Lovely location , very helpful and friendly staff My room was over the bar so a bit noisy. A fan in the room would of been a good addition

Myself and my Wife stayed here for two nights as a last minute weekend away . There is car park at the rear of the hotel which costs £6 per night on a first come basis . The reception is tucked away out of site next to the lifts . The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The foyer was really nicely decorated and looked nice and bright . Our room was on the second floor ,unfortunately the first impression when the lift door opens was a let down as the wall was badly marked and looked dirty . The room was okay although it wasn’t the cleanest room I’ve ever been in . The headboard was covered in dust and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while . The carpet had stains and looked tired. Very disappointed after seeing the foyer was expecting a nice room but that wasn’t to be . The bar staff were very polite and friendly. The room doesn’t get cleaned or the linen changed unless you ask for it to be done . The corridors have the usual creaky floors and again the carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. We didn’t eat in the hotel so I can’t comment on the food or service. Would I stay here again …..if I had no other options maybe .

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was lovely. The building seemed very poorly maintained, windows were very dirty and the frames were rotting. The flooring was a nightmare, everywhere you walked it creaked and squeaked under your feet. The room was good ( except for the floor! ), very clean but the toilet pan hadn't seen bleach for a while! Outside our windows, the metal balcony was very rusty and had weeds growing on it,so could do with a clean up. One of the lifts was simply too small, one person and a suitcase was all it had room for. Overall, our stay at the Burlington was ok, but oh, those squeaky floorboards!

Fantastic location would return Excellent location, breakfast was very good and a fabulous variety of food items. Building is old but a nice quirky old loved it The beds seem very small not even a double I’d say, the rooms are huge so no reason for such a small bed

Location and staff were lovely. No pressure in shower and no plug to have a bath. Very rusty bin in bathroom.

Fantastic staff, helpful and friendly. Room was huge and clean and there plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Great location right on the beach. Check out time was a little early for us, it's 10am, we're used to midday checkouts.

Seat view Foid was not great no flavor and only warm.
Fire alarm went off at 2 Am noone there to supervise or switch it off and no fire doors . People who were disabled were even more scared so I helped as I do fire training at work regularly .
But noone came no fire marshal it was awful

Good parking. Helpfully staff especially when the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.
Not sure that beds are not made anymore is a good idea but not a major problem.
Good value for money.

Car park, breakfast, location Bathroom was so narrow and we couldn't turn in it. Bed was hard. Did not appreciate being woken up by alarm at 2.15. Room was over the kitchen extractor fans so very noisy.

Stayed for 2 nights. Booked through Expedia choosing a superior king size room. Although room was very spacious and bed was comfy it was a double, asked at reception and was told there was no kingsize so false advertisements on Expedia part. On first evening found ants running about was offered another room but wasn't as bright or big so had to resort to ant spray. Floors in room were very creaky and overall hotel needs some TLC. Breakfast was good and Louis was a really nice member of staff, a credit to the hotel. Wasn't impressed with the fire drill at 2.30am. Overall staff were all amazing.
