Hotel location is excellent. They could improve cleaning and noise insulation.
Location of the hotel was good and the staff were friendly. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time but our room was ready for us so we were given the keys.
We could hear the steps from upstairs all night long. Our room was not similiar to the ones given in photos and I think we could have given a better room with a nice view as we travelled during winter season where the hotel was not full and given the hotel is near the seaside. But our room was rather small and looking at the back of the hotel.

Great location and deluxe room is very spacious with a lovely view over the sea. Room was very clean. Food was good.
Deluxe room very expensive for a very tired room; lights not working, radiator stuck on full (had to sleep with window open it was so hot)… huge room but tiny bathroom!

Staff are unhelpful, no customer service experience and breakfast food were incomplete, the fried eggs tray were empty I had to ask the restaurant manager but just gave me a bad look.
People had to wait for the eggs for half an hour.
I saw the food attendant arranging the pastry with her hands without food gloves.

Fab stay, super friendly, helpful staff, would stay again.
The location was perfect and very easy to get to. We had a lovely sea view which we were upgraded to without asking. The food in the hotel was lovely and the staff were brilliant.
The hotel is in need of some tarting up and the road noise was quite loud.

Location useful, pleasant greeting upon arrival, nice reception, lifts working, bed and furniture clean, a plug-in electric radiator had made room nice & cosy but turned it AND the already running CH off for the rest of night, it was fine.
However, although sink and loo appeared clean the soap dish over bath was filthy, there was mould on the bathtub surrounding the shower glass, the shower head and pipe needed cleaning.
Floor extremely creaky so had to creep around as nextdoor room had Do Not Disturb hanger on door.

Hotel and room were fine breakfast good plenty of it but the 3 nights we stayed we were unable to sleep from all the noise from the room above also on the last night the room either next door or across the hallway were arguing and throwing things at each for 7 hours it didn't stop till 7 in the morning as it was our last night thank God there no point in seeing a member of staff about it

The Hotel is badly in need of refurbishment, our room was reasonably clean but extremely warm! We opened the window slightly in the morning to try to cool the room and while we were at breakfast we returned to find two pigeons in the room!

Very disappointing with dogs being allowed in bedrooms and dining room. Will not return.

We were woke up at 7am on Saturday morning to the sound of two dogs coming out of the bedrooms yapping very loudly at each other. It has put us off returning to Coast and Country.

Great value for money
The breakfast was very good. My room was comfortable and pleasant, with a great sea view. The staff were pleasant.
It's a nice hotel in a great location; however, it is time for a refurb. The windows are very old and there are gaps between the window frame. The whole hotel looks very 70's.
