Great opportunity for renovation Location was good Very basic hotel that apparently will get some renovations done Just a very basic hotel that struggles with maintenance and upkeep but is in an area excellent location across from pier. Walking distance from Eastbourne train station (800m). There are also buses close by though PT in UK is expensive even with advance purchase.

Hotel is pretty old with lots of damages. The room smells sewage. Can hear snoring from next door and everyone that walks by. No hydraulic system so all doors banging all the time. Super dirty with sugar inside the coffee tray but the staff is very nice to wash it for me. Water inside the kettle with lots of stains inside. Toilet seat is not in place, bed sheets placed on floor before changing. Location is very convenient with lots of nice restaurants around and short walk to The Beacon. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Eastbourne on a budget The hotel is very tired and could use some love and money spent on it. It's clean, and the staff are very friendly. If you want a very cheap night away, you could do a lot worse than the Burlington. The bathroom in our room was very old and had been repaired many, many times. But the room was cheap so what do you expect?

Hotel was very convenient for our purposes in ideal location, out side of hotel looking very tired, in need of a good refurb, in side better than expected. We booked a superior room with sea view , nice room, however the people staying in the room directly above us couldn’t keep still walking about at all hours of the night the problem was all the floor boards were extremely squeaky and kept waking us up!! One other point was that the toilet pan was squeezed into a 2 foot space between shower and wall with no room for manouver, I’ll leave that to your imagination!!!

Great location, views, staff and food. Hotel needs TLC Location is great and we had a sea view room, so we could see the pier and sea.
Parking behind the hotel, makes life easier
Close to town and amenities
Friendly, helpful staff
Food was great, good choice for breakfast and 3 course dinner, all presented well and tasted nice.
booking half board was a brill deal.
Serving staff in the restaurant all very friendly & efficient
The hotel is old, which is lovely, but it is tired in places . Needs lots of TLC.
The room we had was okay but the bathroom was dirty, no proper cleaning or care is taken. Or the cleaners need glasses, sorry to be sarcastic but there is no excuse.
The bathroom also very old and the floor was noisy and spongy!
But we slept ok and our view distracted us from the negatives & we got a bargain few nights away.
