Generally fine. Satisfactory given price. Reception and bar staff. Meals. Entertainment jolly good. Spacious lounge areas. Fast lifts. Small TV in room. Lounge seating not very comfortable. Bathroom needed an anti-slip mat and grab rail in bath. Cleaning/s routines need checking up on by facilities manager.

Extremely friendly & helpful reception staff made me feel very welcome . Excellent stay for a solo traveller.I would be happy to stay at the Burlington Hotel in the future but would book a Sea View room . The only negative I have is the room was very warm & I was unable to turn off the heating.& outlook from the window was not good.

We had a nice time overall but the hotel could do with a general overhaul. The location on the seafront is very good. Good choice of places to eat just around the corner. We had a large room looking over the beach and pier. It is looking tired all over. Creaky floors. Shower was barely warm. Breakfast Luke warm.

Needs renovation, but clean and gorgeous views. Historical building opposite beach with large windows affording stunning sea and night sky views. Friendly, hardworking staff. Large, clean room. Wobbly bed, creaky floorboards, basic room offerings - no toiletries, fixed wall soap dispenser can't reach when using bath. No plug sockets near the bed. It's a shame that this building, facilities and decor are old and tired, need updating. You can tell how grand this hotel once was, needs much investment. However, once expectations match this, it adds to the charming, atmospheric feel of this historical building.

Great Location for a relaxing stay in Eastbourne Superb location in front of the carpet garden and near the pier. Lovely large room overlooking the promenade, with bath, comfy beds and armchairs. Nice pleasant lounge with bar and, occasionally, with some evening entertainment. Lack of attention to details for cleaning the room during one's stay. Good English breakfast, but sometimes lukewarm depending on the number of people in residence. The majority of the staff are very helpful and friendly while others are on automatic pilot.

Had a great few days and was delighted with the facilities and welcome by the staff Great position on the front and very comfortable Staff were under pressure so more staff required which would relieve unnecessary delays

Great value, comfortable bed and helpful, friendly staff. Room and hotel was warm on a cold breezy night. The reception staff were great and let us leave our case the following day while we wandered around Eastbourne.

Great value for money and location Location, historical prestige, on street parking seemed easy but we were out of season A bit tired but it’s common for seaside towns to be hit by falling tourist numbers and cash poor. I’m ok with that and it’s reflected in the price and i don’t think the service was compromised by this.
