Had a great view from our room. Large room and everything you needed. Staff were helpful and hotel is located in central position.

Great hotel with fantastic staff all round. The staff click together like one big family from the Manager to the cleaner. Got to know the staff very well whilst staying here as I was looking for property to live in. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Load humming noise constany waking up too. Dirty marks on walls . Window view wasnt the best of flat roof full of rubbish . Staff were good and helpful

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hard to find the car park even though instructions were given prior to the stay. Some parts of the hotel were very dated. Got a upgrade to a seaview room which was clean but very basic and the bathroom was grotty and the windows were in a terrible state. Have been offered a superior double room on the 3rd floor for our next visit but we are unsure when that maybe. Happy to book soon if get get a complimentary breakfast and dinner.

Old property, dated but adds to charm some what. Spacious areas in lobby and restaurant, food excellent, rooms spacious with tall ceilings, staff faultless (thank you to Liam and Sarah) very helpful and welcoming

It was not bad.
Location is excellent, near to pier few step to beach, high street is 100m away.
Poor house keeping. Requested house keeping to change towels, made bed n take away trash which they did poorly. It was disappointing

Clean, basic amenities, good value for money.
Good value for money, very friendly check-in at reception. Parking very easy, and central location with sea view.
The bedrooms aren't very soundproofed, you could hear everyone in the corridors and next door. We had a room with a sea view and the windows shook in the wind. I would recommend earplugs.

Very enjoyable
The manager Liam couldn’t have been more helpful and bent over backwards to get us sea view rooms after I mistakenly booked superior rooms that didn’t have sea views

Check in was easy. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The lounge, bar and dining rooms are spacious. The bar food was excellent, plenty of food for the money. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. A great place overall. The family loved the atmosphere. Great location.

All in all had a good stay, check in easy staff friendly and helpful. We had room on top floor facing back of hotel big room but very dark as small window high up, nothing like photos on site.
Asked for an upgrade room with sea view which was far superior to the old room, very comfortable with added extras like a coffee machine. £25 pn to upgrade. Thanks to the staff for organising. Looking out over the pier was nice after a days sightseeing. Great location on seafront, near to plenty of restaurants.

Staff were all lovely friendly and helpful. Location of hotel very good to go to pier or bandstand or catch the Eastbourne sightseeing bus and beach opposite and lots of shops and restaurants behind hotel in next road.
For the price we paid for dinner bed and breakfast it was very good value. Room was very clean and good size but bathroom very old sink definitely needs changing. Shame we had view of emergency stairs. Didn't realise so much work was being done around. Didn't know about the hotel next to us burning down so scaffolding all around. Then the gardens opposite us all dug up and loads of machinery around with diggers. Plus side road of hotel road all dug up and road closed so couldn't get into carpark. Would of been nice to have a message to say go in no entry road to get in carpark council agreed it. Instead spent £4.50 parking in a side road to then go to hotel for them to tell me how to get into hotel carpark. The work going on all round the hotel felt like staying in a building site.
