First visit, great location and food, felt a little disconnected from the restaurant, was surprised to be seated in the bar area in the corner, all on our own! I may of understood if I had not booked a table, but giving that I had couldn't get why I was seated in the bar with no other people felt pushed out.<br>Mentioned it to the waiter who agreed , but the lady in charge was too busy to rectify.

5 stars are not enough to describe our experience at the Bistrot Pierre in Eastbourne.<br>We were staying in Eastbourne for a couple of days to celebrate my husband's birthday and booked a table at the Bistrot as it had really caught my attention on the Visit Eastbourne website.<br>The restaurant itself is gorgeous, the location stunning and the food delicious; I am still dreaming those scallops.<br>They had all the Covid measures in place and it felt really safe.<br>However, what made the evening extra special was the superb hospitality and customer service of Alex and Emelinie (I am sure I have misspelt her name .. sorry π).<br>They went the extra mile for us and even sang Happy Birthday to my husband bringing the dessert and the candles to blow.<br>I cannot recommend this restaurant enough as it also has a really good price point for the quality and freshness of the food they serve.<br>Thank you for contributing to an unforgettable holiday.<br>Ayo & Maria

We were served by Oliver in Eastbourne on the 22nd, he was a really good waiter, very polite and funny.<br>The food was incredible too, we will absolutely be back to venture outside the steak section of the menu!

Wow! What a wonderful venue. What a lovely evening.<br>Myself and two friends had the most wonderful evening at BP this week, and we all left feeling much lighter emotionally than before. Food was good to excellent. Amazing views and friendly, efficient staff, who behaved courteously even when I rather bluntly said I was happy with the small water bottles presented when the large were not available, but not with their hands all over the tops in Covid days.<br><br>My small piece of constructive criticism. Whilst the Covid measures were impressive at the top level, I only had to watch the table next to me being cleaned to see that you had either not taken the time to really watch your customers or not trained your staff. The first thing I HAD TO touch when I sat down was the upright bars on the sides of my chair to pull it into the table. And again, every time I got up from the table. Yet only the tops of the tables were sanitised between customers.<br><br>Please do better, do the customer watching/research and get it right. We are coming for the Covid safety of your open air terrace, we need a comprehensive solution. My friends is supporting her Mom through chemo, the other friend worked with children with special needs who can't wear masks/follow other safety measure and I have possible immunity issues..so its really important. Thank you.

We had our last lunch here during of vacation. Stunning view, busy restaurant, but well organised. We did not wait long for getting table and being served. Their price fix option is a very good value for dinner, with enough choices. I have tried the fried brie in breadcrumb, unfortunately it was served with strawberry jam insted of plum chutney, but it was still great. Main is chicken with tarragon sauce and mashed potato, asparagus. It was also ok. Altogether this place is worth to visit. Merci!

Was recommended to visit by our b&b hosts and there recommendation was spot on. We sat outside and staff were very friendly and also very helpful. My only slight concern is please pick up the phone as in the end had to book the table online and not everyone is confident in using a online booking service. Apart from that I would totally recommend eating here as the food is excellent. We shall be back π

Iβm a big fan of french cuisine. The Beef Bourguignon I had was spot-on, very tender and flavourful. Not too bad, the location is a bit secluded however.

Beautiful day, lovely scenery of the beach as we had lunch here.<br>They have an amazing offer on for under Β£13 for lunch and pudding.<br>Staff are helpful, polite and friendly.<br>Would go again.
