Food was quite nice and the views of the sea were great.<br>The outside seating area was refreshing and the ambient music was very pleasant.<br>The only downside was that the restaurant seemed quite busy, and we would’ve liked a quieter place.

Just had an excellent lunch here at Bistro Pierre. Our server Franco was extremely engaging and attentive. Creme Brulé to die for. Will be visiting again.

The food was very nice, we all enjoyed it. The atmosphere and scenery were also good. Unfortunately service was very slow, we saw more than one table leave before even getting served, and a few people were complaining.

You won't get a better view in Eastbourne. As a new venue it's clean and so bright with hand sanitisers everywhere. The staff all wear masks so it feels safe for dining in. The food was good. Franco our waiter was exceptionally friendly and helpful and my husband was very impressed with his service. All the staff were lovely and informative. Your view is of the beach and ferris wheel - and you might just see a full moon rising!! The photo with the ferris wheel shows the restaurant on the left.

Lovely location, food was nice but very small portions and although I like vegetables 'all dente' that doesn't mean I like them semi raw. Service was friendly but a bit on the lengthy side. On balance I will go again.

I visited Bistrot Pierre twice during my visit to Eastbourne. The location is stunning and whilst it was too windy to eat outside the first night, we had such a lovely corner table with views to Beachy Head, we were very content!<br>Staff were friendly and welcoming on both visits. Food was delicious and plentiful. (The only reason this didn't get a 5* review is because some dishes were unavailable on each visit).<br><br>I shall definitely return when next visiting Eastbourne.<br>Outside the restaurant is a take-away booth serving cold/hot drinks, baguettes + pastries if you just want a quickie snack whilst out + about in the area.

Just been to Bistrot Pierre Eastbourne book at 4.45pm for the lunch menu.<br>Nice staff freindly, food was excellent.<br>Would have given 5 stars if staff were wearing masks, it's worrying food is being delivered to the tables no masks.<br>Lovely setting.

My boyfriend and I had a great experience at Bistrot Pierre. This is a very well located restaurant, with a lovely view of the shore, nice food and friendly staff. We went there twice. Firstly, we found the restaurant after walking through the whole 24 km Seven Sisters Cliffs route and it was a nice reward. We decided to go back there on the next day as we had enjoyed very much and we would like to try the Creme Brule. The restaurant manager Keiron was really nice, as the dessert had finished, Keiron asked the chef to prepare fresh Creme Brule just for us. We will definetely go back to Bistrot Pierre when visiting Eastbourne again! We highly recommend it!

Excellent bistro overlooking the sea and gardens. Great place for light meals but not if you are looking for massive portions!<br><br>Very nice bar area and outside seating when weather permits!<br><br>Usually VERY busy, sso advisable to book if eating.<br><br>To my mind, good service and reasonable prices.<br><br>NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!. SHAME!!

Been 5 times so far..... will keep going! At last, a decent restaurant with excellent surroundings. Cant wait to try it in the summer as well.<br><br>So....summer, covid reopening....... service poor from 1 individual (I told the manager), service VErY slow. Food --- not as good as all the previous times, pre covid. We will keep going to see if it gets back on its game again as this has the real potential to be on of the best restaurants in Eastbourne.

Thank you for a lovely evening meal, we were looked after by Franko who served us very well, the wait times were a little long between courses, maybe because it was very busy, but this did not put us off at all because the food was exceptional. Would thoroughly recommend.

"Pink" beef was dry and there was barely any gravy so needed loads of horseradish but the red cabbage, potatoes, carrots and brocolli were very nice and the service was good and friendly. Could help if the cheese board actually came on a board and the drinks arrived before we finished our starters!

Great location, great food, friendly staff - will be amazing venue for evenings in the summer. Seen some criticism for not allowing dogs into the restaurant area - since when are dogs allowed in restaurants? Pubs, yes but even then not in formal seating areas.
