Visited to celebrate our friend's wedding this restraint accommodated us at short notice, while still adhering to social distancing rules. The food was great drinks were lovely and our server James went out of his way to make our visit special even under the covid restrictions. 5 star service lovely atmosphere will come back. Thanks James you made our night.

This was a great surprise for me as I came to Eastbourne just over a year ago and stayed this side of the beachfront and Bistrot Pierre wasn’t there. I can see it from my hotel window, so I decided to give it a go. Food was delicious, service was exceptional and the restaurant itself it’s nice and has a cozy atmosphere. It is quite busy so I’d highly recommend to book in advance. Only down side for me was that I couldn’t go out to the terrace to drink my G&T while facing the sea bit I guess these are Covid times and they may need to keep things more controlled with less transit around the restaurant. Still, i’m planning to go back and try some other dishes. Bistrot Pierre really is what this end of the Eastbourne beachfront needed.

First visit after hearing great reports. Service was excellent, food was good, just not hot enough. Really can't understand how a French bistro can run out of pate though, which is pretty much a staple dish wherever you eat in France. I can thoroughly recommend the tarte au citron for a dessert, really was very good.

Expectation were fairly high for our first visit. Lovely place, well situated on the seafront. Sadly, slightly disappointed, food was quite good but not exceptional, but the main thing is, and this is what other people have commented on, is the length of time for service. Our nibles and drinks arrived quite quickly, orders for mains taken, no starters ordered, and then the wait began. The most galling thing is, that people who arrived after us got their mains before us and then were on desert before our plates had been cleared from the table. Not a good impression, staff are lovely but need to be a bit more mindful of what is happening on each table. I think that the restaurant thinks that it is better than it really is, harsh I know, but that's what I think. Will I go there again? Probably will, but will leave it for a few weeks.

Great food at a good price I paid with a very good discount before 6pm, served by a friendly staff. The restaurant is beautiful and clean and located by the sea. All together combined create a pleasant atmosphere.
