2017 Christmas Craft Markets and Gift Fairs in Brighton
Christmas fairs have been around in mainland Europe for decades but they are still relatively new in the UK.
Unsurprisingly, they have rapidly gained in popularity over the last few years as they offer a really different shopping experience. Shoppers love being able to browse stalls offering unusual gifts and sampling goodies from the food stalls. There's often Christmas music to get you in the mood too.
The Christmas markets have fitted in well alongside the thriving craft fair scene in the city – many of these run monthly but are even more popular in the run up to Christmas.
If you want to buy local, support Sussex artists and be organized this Christmas, check out these recommended markets in the winter sun (and, if you are lucky, avoid the rain.)
