When I am asked this question, I respond by describing it as a mindful practice of floor based postures, each held for 3-­5 minutes and approached in a way that allows us to target the deeper connective tissues of the body ­ fascia and ligaments.

Brighton Yoga Festival provides a free one-day celebration of yoga on Saturday 23 July 2016 at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange. The festival is open to everyone: whatever their age, fitness or experience, whether they've ever tried yoga before or not, there will be yoga for them. As well as free classes in all different yoga styles, explore free workshops, discussions, therapies, demonstrations and much more.
