Professional, amateur and junior bakers are putting their baking skills to the test this weekend in the first Great North Devon Bake Off Competition.
North Devon Hospice are a local charity providing specialist care and support to those with a life-threatening illness and to their loved ones, completely free of charge. They celebrate their 30th anniversary this year and it is with thanks to the local community that this milestone has been achieved.
Picnics bring to mind romantic, basket-filled-with-treats lunch for two by a stream or a lunch in a park hastily packed to get the children out for a couple of hours, but picnics can be just as fun inside!
