Professional, amateur and junior bakers are putting their baking skills to the test this weekend in the first Great North Devon Bake Off Competition. Newly launched Starfish Community Charity is holding the event on Sunday, 29th June at the Big Sheep family attraction from 10am to 1pm. Entry to the bake off event is free and for those who would like to go into the Big Sheep afterwards there is a discounted rate.
Once the judging has been completed by local judges Phoebe Gibb, author of Best Ever Recipes Cupcakes, and Managing Director of Bay Tree Catering, Sarah Escott of Best of Barnstaple and Lisa Templeton, Editor of North Devon Journal, the winners will be announced at 12pm followed by the auction of the best decorated cakes.
