All the staff at The Light are always really welcoming and friendly, you can tell they take pride in their workplace. The cinema is clean and tidy and the seats are comfortable. The food is reasonably priced and the coffee is excellent. I have the unlimited pass and it is very good value for money.

Comfy, large seats. Polite staff. Also loved the old-fashioned announcements before the film starts!

Not been myself yet but my late partner used to go using his carer card with his support worker. He used to be a film reviewer and loved movies. He said this was one of the best cinemas he'd been to

We went to see Ghostbusters and the frozen empire but there was a technical issue and we were moved to another screen. I have to say that the staff were absolutely amazing. So apologetic and couldn't do enough for us because the film was delayed being shown. The gentleman who we assumed was the manager was so so lovely. He took the time to thank us for our patience even followed us outside and made sure we were ok with our parking ticket . It's the first time we had visited this cinema and have to say was very impressed.we have thourily enjoyed our visit today and will most definitely be back. All the staff were polite and helpful. Thank you again.

Always a great cinema.
Remember parking is pay to park.
Plenty of food options and even a new arcade in the vicinity.

Great that they organise baby friendly screenings. Turned up a little late to one (albeit still in the adverts), and the staff were so helpful and whizzed me through with the pram.

I came in to watch a film with my friend and overall my experience was amazing apart from one member of staff blessing making me feel very uncomfortable and had a lot to say about my appearance I’m absolutely disgusted that some who’s working thinks it’s ok to treat a customer that way.

Brilliant cinema. Sign up for a free membership and tickets are so much cheaper. It’s clean in the viewings and seats are much comfier than other cinemas. Grab a Guinness and a pizza and then go watch your movie, brilliant. Staff are super friendly as well!

Really enjoyed my visit as I haven't been to a cinema in years.. must remember to sit further back next visit 😁👍 prices were good especially with meerkat movies.. food and drink a little on the expensive side, but this is how cinemas survive I guess? And hats off to such friendly and courteous staff too 👍🙂

There's nothing to dislike about this place. The service has always been excellent, the staff always friendly and welcoming. It's very clean, including the toilets. The food and drink selection in the bar is good, the seats are comfortable and the temperature always seems to be just right. Booking tickets online is very easy and hassle-free. Definitely my favourite cinema and one I've been back to many times and will continue to do so. Also, it's a nice personal touch that a member of staff comes out before each film starts and energetically make announcements rather than just have them on the screen. They also go beyond film, with things such as retro gaming nights and other events that happen at certain times troughout the year. Top notch place.

To clarify this post prior to the edit was from several years ago hence why things have changed several years later: Best cinema in the West Midlands by far. Been going from day one and we don’t even live in Walsall anymore. it is worth going for Infinity membership for only £17 per month with unlimited viewings and discount on food and drinks. you can also bring in alcoholic drinks from the bar into your viewings. Plus the manager (tattoo on neck) is brilliant:

Edit: why have XL drinks when they aren’t even filled properly? Might as well just get the normal large drink size. Since this cinema has been under new management for the umpteenth time the customer service etc is going downhill. I have been coming here since day one and many years later the customer service isn’t great at all.

Well they say people make a holiday, but I must say the PEOPLE (staff), at the The Light made my visit extra memorable.
Simply put they were fantastic from the bar man to the chap cleaning up.
Saw DUNE which was fantastic but the staff wow.
Many thanks all, will definitely return.

Fairly busy smallish cinema with a bar and restaurant. Pay and display outside with plenty of spaces. Pleasant and friendly staff.

Attended this evening to watch Dune: Part 2. A bunch of teenagers sitting 2 sears away from me talked, giggled and generally messed about for the first 2.5 hours of the film, finally getting up and leaving when I asked them to shut up or go and find a park to play on. Extremely irritating, why spend all that money on a cinema ticket and then not watch the film but spoil it for others? Pretty good cinema other than that, nice pinot grigio, very comfy seats with lots of leg room
