A really nice little cinema with the only negative against it being the state of the toilets. They are unisex and not very clean. Other than that, the cinema chairs and screens are very nice and the range of food and drinks is fantastic while not being too expensive.

This cinema is our favourite. Better than the big chains as they have better, cheaper combo deals, personable staff, delicious pizza and hot food options, all available at take to your screening. The chairs are comfortable and great for bigger bottoms.

Nice cinema went to watch Hit me hard and soft by Billie Eilish and it was quick and easy to go to the cinema room and very clean. Had someone entertaining everyone while waiting

Staff are great, the food is good (popcorn, nachos, hotdogs etc.). There is a restaurant inside which does things like pizza and other nice treats. And a bar. And you can take everything into the screen. The screens themselves are pretty good, although sometimes i dont think the sound is as good as what you get from somewhere like cineworld
The main downside used to be the parking which you had to pay for but since yesterday it looks like they've picked up the pay stations so may now be free parking

Just been to see the new mandalorian film, very friendly staff, nice and clean, the big problem for us was in screen 2 the temperature was very cold, we had summer clothes on due to it being hot outside ( dress & t-shirt and jeans ) and we nearly came out halfway through, due to how cold it was

I visit the Light regularly and always find the staff very friendly and helpful.
On my latest visit though I was shocked about the state of the upstairs ladies toilets. Several in a row had not been flushed,there was no liquid soap in the dispensers and it was almost pitch black in there with very limited lighting on.
This is not up to your usual standard of cleanliness and needs your attention and action please.

Just wanna say an amazing thankyou to the staff my partner had a fall here no fault of the cinemas and the staff were fantastic so helpful and friendly and caring they couldn't do enough to help us thankyou so much didn't get all the names except Lauren thankyou to you and the other wonderful staff we truly appreciate it the light are lucky to have such wonderful staff

Regularly attend this cinema, it is clean comfortable, has great picture quality and good sound.
They don't just play new movies, but documentaries and golden oldies that everyone knows and loves too.
Parking is pay for on arrival and for the most part enough, however during peak times extra parking can be found across the road at the wharf shopping area for those who don't drive the train station is just a few mins away and bus station and stops are a short walk away.

It's great having a cinema again in the middle of town the tickets are very reasonably priced aswell. we've been many a time since it opened and we really enjoy going there. It's also got a bar inside aswell don't know what that's like as we've never been there but overall it's a great place to visit when there's films you want to see. After we went a couple of weeks ago it's surprising how much room there is inside now that they've knocked the wall down that divided the pub from the cinema so it's much more open planned. They have since stopped doing the free refills on the popcorn and soft drinks, we were told that they made a huge mistake with that offer and have since learned their lesson and that was by a member of staff. If you go of a Friday night they have a retro games night where you can play on the old consoles ranging from the Xbox, PS1, Game Cube and a few others aswell you pay a small fee of £2 it runs from 5 - 10 and you can play for as long as you like.

Did not even know there was a cinema here. Went to see Devil wears Prada 2. They're also showing cult classic films. The seats are very comfortable. I felt ticket and snacks prices were a little expensive (but I guess that's most cinemas).

The complex it's in also has a few restaurants and across the way is Crown Wharf shopping, which has a good Asda Retail outlet. If you're going over there after being in the cinema/having a meal and have enough time left on car park ticket, don't bother move your car as its another paid carpark, it's literally a 1 minute walk.
Definitely recommend Walsall Light, staff lovely and polite.

Such a lovely cinema. The staff really make this place, nothing is too much for them. Definitely my go to place to take my son to watch the latest or to catch up with friends even just for a cocktail
