Christmas Lunch food was great service was good staff were excellent very attentive considering the difficulties with COVID there was good choice on the carvery and it was all fresh food will definitely go again tables were laid beautifully.

I attended the New Years Eve event and had a fantastic time. The food was excellent quality and felt good value for money for what we paid with the live singer and DJ. I felt very safe and felt the COVID measures that were put in place on the night made everyone feel at ease. Will definitely be attending another event soon

Nice festive meal . Beautiful room . Enjoyable newyear. Would recommend and would definitely book again. Great atmosphere adults only night. Staff worked hard . Bar is a bit pricey but it was newyear and is a golf club.

Lovely venue for a Sunday carvery. Ample parking. The carvery was well worth the money. Good portion of meats, and a wide range of well cooked vegetables. The gravy topped it off nicely! Will definitely go again soon!!

Absolutely cracking course, with some interesting holes and challenging plays. Can get a bit samey on the back nine but there is always something to keep you on your toes. We played following some exceptionally wet weather and for the most part the course held up really well. The front nine is interesting and rewards the player who is straight off the tee but (fortunately) is not too punishing to those who aren't. The greens had just been hollow cored so weren't at their best in early October but having played in the summer I know that this is temporary (a necessary evil). Local knowledge is useful off the tee on some holes but if in doubt just club down. I love the drinks trolley that does the rounds around the course too! And it has an excellent and well stocked pro-shop. There are also 2 ranges, neither of which I have used, but both look decent.
To be honest though the course is only half the story with this place. We stayed in the log cabins and did the full hospitality thing, and we were not disappointed. In fact we have been here twice now (from Sheffield) because the level of service you get is absolutely brilliant and the environs are perfect for a trip away with friends, few beers in the evening and then do it all again the following day. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone.

It's a strong 4/5 from us. The trees are growing and course is maturing nicely. Would have made 5 8f the bunkers were better.
