My uncles had there wedding here 29/5/25 what a superb day food fab and hot staff very helpful and polite event planner went out of her way to make sure all went well rooms we stayed in was lovely beds very comfortable and everyone worked as a team to.make this day very special I would highly recommend calderfields

Last played this course 2 years ago and was very impressed with the conditions of the course. Decided to return with a friend over the bank holiday weekend and was disappointed with the conditions of the course. Greens were very poor, like concrete, patchy and very bumpy as your putting. Pace of play very slow and an extremely rudenand arrogant course marshall. Definitely not woth the £32.50 green fee. I have played the likes of Druids Heath, Walsall, Great Barr, Bloxwich and Sutton Coldfield recently and the greens have all been in excellent condition and not much difference in cost of green fee so better value money and better quality golf courses in the area. The only positive to take was the friendliness of staff in thr pro shop and bar and the food and beer was reasonably priced for a golf club.

We attended one of the tribute nights in December for our works Christmas night out. This was our first time at Calderfields and we are certainly booking again for Christmas 2025. We had a warm friendly welcome from all the staff, the food was delicious with brilliant service, the atmoshpere was fantastic with a brilliant act and DJ and everywhere was spotless. Overall we had a fabulous time and looking forward to the same again this year.

Last week, we attended a wake at Calderfields. The team are fantastic, and the food was amazing. So today, I decided to go for a meal, and bring my friend along. The prices for the meals are decent, and plentiful. Mia who served us was lovely, along with the guy who was there too. Surprised that they don't get more footfall in the daytime, as there's a great choice on the menu. Thanks to all for the lovely welcome.

What a hidden gem, it popped up on Facebook and we thought we would go for a midweek dinner. Neil was a great host and quickly seated us and took our order. Had the two for £12 meal deal, roast of the day and scampi and chips. What great value and the roast beef was some of the best I’ve had in a long time, even came with a couple of pigs in blankets. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyable (compliments to the chef) and unbelievable value, we will definitely return.

I come to calderfields most Sundays as my boyfriend has a golf membership with you. An all rounder lovely place from excellent golf course/ facilities and the best carvery we have ever had! We always recommend to friends and family. We have also attended weddings and events. Overall fantastic place lovely clean and friendly staff.

Stayed on a Thursday night. Simple no fuss kinda place that is clean. Good for one night stay. Rooms are warm (possibly too warm when heating left on 30) but comfortable once you figure out heating and the windows open.
The bed was a bit too soft for my liking, but overall it was worth the money. Works perfectly for a 1 night no frills simple place to stay with large chains and as it was a Thursday it was quiet.

Went for the Sunday carvery which was pretty average, some veggies under cooked and some soggy. Service was poor as waitress asked what we wanted to drink and then didn't know what beers they sold. No offer of getting starters, just go get carvery when ready. Shame really as I had high hopes.

Had a wonderful experience here for my wedding in March 2025. Rooms were lovely, gave 4 stars purely as the lighting wasn't great for getting ready for a wedding in terms of makeup etc as they are quite dark and lights are dim. Bed comfy, showers spacious, tvs on the wall. Staff were as accommodating as they possibly could be helping in any way they could, I even left my kindle there by accident and they were great at getting it sorted so I could get it back ASAP. Food is absolutely delicious. We had a buffet and breakfast next morning which was all really lovely. Drinks are really reasonably priced. Ajoining family rooms available which is great as we had our kids there with us so could keep them close by. Just couldn't of asked for a better experience for our wedding. Would always recommend 👌🏻

I played golf here at the weekend (late January but sunny!). The course was in really good condition considering the rubbish British weather. We took advantage of the breakfast offer, and enjoyed a free bacon sandwich and hot drink. My first but not last time playing here.

Went today for my husband 65th birthday meal . We booked for 3pm wich was fine 20 of us . Carvery was lovely but some food was cold . Will try again abit later in the year and have a earlier time to see if there is any difference

Massive carpark and it's free to use. Check in is at the golf club reception and all information is given.
The rooms are set in the grounds of the golf club and the pathway isn't lit very well when it's dark! We used my phone torch to see the way and number!
The room itself was a good size as was the shower room.

WiFi non existent and phone signal was poor!

Cannot fault the carvery, waited 20 minutes for a drink, some wanted puddings and waited 40 minutes, one pudding was profiteroles and there was 3 in a bowl and a tiny squirt of cream, a total rip off.

Went to the Tom Jones tribute night last Saturday, fantastic!! Everything was first class, room set out great, everywhere clean and tidy. Food was delicious, piping hot and well presented. Staff were brilliant, congratulations to all those involved in setting it up, great job. Oh, and " Tom" was pretty damn good as well. When's the next one!!!
