Massive carpark and it's free to use. Check in is at the golf club reception and all information is given.
The rooms are set in the grounds of the golf club and the pathway isn't lit very well when it's dark! We used my phone torch to see the way and number!
The room itself was a good size as was the shower room.
Very warm room
The shower was hot and powerful.
The bed was comfortable even though it was a single bed!
WiFi non existent and phone signal was poor!
Clubhouse restaurant was good, excellent value and good choice of menu.

Excellent from booking with Julie to arriving and being greeted by staff . We started our day with drinks then shown to our table .
Starters were served and were delicious . Staff we so lovely . Main was carvery which was amazing . The man serving the meats was happy and chatty . Deserts were amazing. I enjoyed the chocolate tree where my sister in law enjoyed the cheese board .
One man stood out on the day and this was Neil. A credit to your Company .
Will be booking again in 2025

Cannot fault the carvery, waited 20 minutes for a drink, some wanted puddings and waited 40 minutes, one pudding was profiteroles and there was 3 in a bowl and a tiny squirt of cream, a total rip off.

Went to the Tom Jones tribute night last Saturday, fantastic!! Everything was first class, room set out great, everywhere clean and tidy. Food was delicious, piping hot and well presented. Staff were brilliant, congratulations to all those involved in setting it up, great job. Oh, and " Tom" was pretty damn good as well. When's the next one!!!

We came for a Sunday carvery and I was super impressed. Absolutely exceeded my expectations. All the food was warm and fresh, great selection of meats. The mash is particularly one of the best dishes. Great atmosphere for a family get together and enjoyed having a round table.

Expensive for very basic accomodation. Little privacy as blinds in chalet ineffective with gaps & missing slats, soap dispenser in bathroom dripping soap continuously, one glass in bathroom, TV far too small, outside light not working, extractor fan in bathroom not working.

We came for a golf day just 2 of us and for the amateurs we are we found this course quite enjoyable not too tricky and not too many hazards to avoid the greens and fairways are very well looked after and the people playing around us are always very friendly and the staff are always willing to help and advise on equipment

Great game of golf. Considering the amount of rain the course was in good condition and played well.

This golf club is first class golf and dinning is superb a must do get it on your list you won’t be disappointed you can also stay and play with their stunning rooms over looking the course wake up refreshed ready for full English breakfast yum. Yum then golf play 18 holes

I have recently moved here from a holiday inn. I stay over four nights for work. I can honestly say that the difference is incredible. My lodge is situated just of the 18th green. I have squirrels running past my door and birds settling down o the fairways for the evening. I can watch golfers approach the 18th through my window. The reastuarant always has an offer on and the food has a great homemade feel and taste. Bar prices are competitive and the staff always have the craic about how my day has been. Crazy golf and a state of the art driving range is just few meters from the accomodoation. For the more seriouse golfers I think there is a pro shop with lessons and Virtual golf available. Laid back feelnin in the club house with a cracking pool table and dart board. What is not to like about this place ?. A breath of fresh air from your normal bussiness hotel.

Just held my daughter’s wedding at this fantastic venue . Stopped 2 nights in their accommodation. Celebrated with family and friends. Beautiful landscape settings . Fantastic staff . Fantastic food. Can’t thank them enough for everything Calderfields golf club staff did for us. Particularly one of the directors Dan who couldn’t do enough for us .

My daughter got married here yesterday. It was the most fantastic day. The staff at Calderfields were amazing. Nothing was true much trouble, they went out of their way , above and beyond, to make the whole wedding wonderful. I would without any doubt recommend having any sort of celebration here. I can’t emphasise enough what incredible people they are, how fantastic the food was and in such a stunning setting.

My partners a golfer so I often get taken to different events here. Lovely place with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere and helpful staff. We always have a good time at the quiz and cuŕrÿ night and virtual horse racing. Have also been to a few tribute nights, highly recommended them and a great meal also included. Looking forward to the next one.

What a hidden gem we stayed for 2 nights the staff were so attentive,the cabins were cosy and spotless with plenty of fluffy towels .we had breakfast and dinner and both were1st class good choice and food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We weren’t golfers but that didn’t matter we had a throughly relaxing and enjoyable time will definitely come again and would recommend to anyone

I come to calderfields most Sundays as my boyfriend has a golf membership with you. An all rounder lovely place from excellent golf course/ facilities and the best carvery we have ever had! We always recommend to friends and family. We have also attended weddings and events. Overall fantastic place lovely clean and friendly staff.

Stayed Friday to Sunday with 3 rounds and 2 nights dinner b and b. Staff at the venue could not have been more positive, making adjustments to meals and allowing an earlier tee time on the final morning. The course was in good condition, easy to walk and provided a challenge for single figure players and occasional golfers within our group. The 3 Par 5 holes are all interesting. Food was very good value and we will certainly be looking to rebook for 2025. Adrian, the Director of Golf was always around and was extremely helpful.

As a former member I went along with two of my friends to their ladies open competition. Although we didn’t play our best golf we thoroughly enjoyed the course. We were all very impressed with the course conditions, the friendliness of the staff and food we had. We are very much considering an overnight stay and play in the autumn and look forward to next year’s open competition.

Great value for money! Booked 2 rounds of golf, 3 course evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast and it felt like the price only reflected the golf itself. Everything else was a bonus. Course in great condition and staff always on hand and happy to help. Managed to fit me and 3 friends in over an extremely busy weekend and provided great service.

Fantastic day Adrian the Pro started the day off with a putting comp followed by Bacon Bap and a nice Coffee then it was game on fantastic parkland course well maintained especially given the 15hrs of rain prior to our game greens were amazing and true good signage around the course
Food and hospitality exceptional with a fully stocked pro shop which caters for ladies too well worth a visit

Afternoon tea for a friends special birthday was superb. Carmel sorted out booking, answered all questions and amended booking due to unforeseen changes. Her help was top notch. Served by Chris on the day who was attentive and very helpful. great views of the golf, food, great selection. Of sandwiches and cakes, good selection of teas and very nice Prosecco plus bar for any other drinks the party needed. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely be going again.

Can only comment on the golf course as I didn't eat here or stay here but the course was in great condition even after some bad weather. Staff were all lovely as well. Cannot complain and would recommend.
