Took my family to the Sunday Carvery for my birthday and they all commented on how good it was in terms of the food and value for money. Nice feel to the restaurant and the young staff were very professional. Great for a family occasion.

Very disappointed with the Xmas meal, service was very slow between courses, I can only describe the main course as something you would expect in a works canteen, a real shame as last year was faultless, will reconsider having our Xmas celebrations here next year

We had a fantastic game of golf, the staff were friendly and the course was in good condition even after all the rain recently, love the guy in the kart with food and drink very helpful telling us how to get to the next holes.

Went with a friend for lunch. It was excellent. Lots of choice and good sized portions. Wish I'd discovered the Lakeside restaurant sooner!

Found this place by chance when looking for somewhere in between family locations. Wow what a hidden gem, outstanding carvery, attentive staff with a relaxed atmosphere for a get together, wasn't felt rushed to move after eating either. Will be back again 😋🤗 xx

Revisited again after complaining about the food earlier in the year. the food was lovely, chicken curry and rice was perfect! nice to see they have put the mango chutney back on the menu along with salad. Cheese pie also looked nice.

Had a Sunday carvery, it was absolutely delicious and will certainly be returning especially when it is only £12.95 per adult, also the staff are excellent and very pleasant surroundings.

Went to Calderfields with 37of my close friends and family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. Even though we were a large mixed group they were fantastic and really looked after us. We had Sunday Lunch, it was relaxed and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a group large or small

Maisy was with us every step of the way and helped us organise a fantastic day. Everything went off without a hitch and they were so accommodating with dietary needs and making our guests feel welcome. The reception room was so beautifully decorated and it was everything we wanted.

Myself and my family have visited here frequently, whether it be for just a casual meal family gathering or wedding event, or even just a short relaxing break, we have found this to be an incredible place. The service by all staff in various departments is attentive and we are made to feel really welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The golf course is beautiful to play a few rounds on. I think it is definitely worth the money and i would recommend to anyone.

I Popped up the m6 with some mates for 2 rounds and a stay for a Saturday night. Very nice to be able too check in and have our rooms before playing our first round. The course wasn’t prob at its best due too the heatwave … but it’s a challenging test of golf for all levels with a fantastic pro shop although the range lets it down. The lodges was very clean and tidy smelt fresh and clean with good showers and comfy beds. But most of all for the 8 of us who stayed was how good the staff was , they bent over backwards too make sure we had a great stay nothing was too much and with a bar full of tired thirsty golfers it takes some patience. The evening 3 course meal we had Saturday night was served quick and was lovely and fresh, but they was a bit stindgy on the breakfast the next morning. We would all return next year though I’m sure. Thanks for a great weekend.
