You’re walking down the street when you spot someone’s ID card on the floor. What do you do? Leave it there? Or try and enlist the power of social media to return the lost property to its rightful owner?
Castaway star Tom, did the latter.
After finding a girl called Lauren’s Fordham University ID card on Tuesday, Tom took to Twitter and told his 10.4 million followers: “Lauren! I found your Student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get it to you. Hanx.”
Isn’t it refreshing to hear stories like this? Famous finder or not, it always warms your cockles to hear of people doing a good deed – no matter how big or small.
