Taunton Town Football Club regret to announce that Martyn Rogers has stood down as first team assistant manager. Martyn joined the Peacocks in August 2012 as assistant to manager Leigh Robinson but now wishes to pursue opportunities as a manager at another club.

He commented: After a lot of serious thought I have decided to seek a post elsewhere to fulfil my ambitions in football which has to be manager. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Taunton and wish Leigh and the players all the very best in the future.

Furthermore I would like to thank Kevin and all the board for all their support during my spell at the football club, not forgetting all the staff that are the backbone of the club.

The club wish to place on record their thanks and appreciation for Martyns efforts during his time at the Viridor Stadium and wish him the best of luck in the future.
