Red Nose Day for Comic Relief 2019 is the fund-raising British Charity established in 1985 by Richard Curtis, scriptwriter, and (now) Sir Lenny Henry the much loved and respected comedian and actor. Since the first Red Nose Day this outstanding Charity has raised more than £1billion to relieve poverty across the world including money raised by sister organisation Sports Relief.

Red Nose Day 2019 will, we hope, be the greatest success yet and you don’t need to climb a mountain to get involved, for those who do not know a team of Celebrities have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa to raise money, this intrepid bunch of people have gone above and beyond the call of duty in the cause, putting themselves at considerable risk in doing so.

Red Nose Day is an opportunity for all of us to wear a Red Nose to work, school, and where ever you like, but it is also a great opportunity for us to join in local events by running everything from a coffee morning to a sporting event, a sponsored event and so much more. Making a donation to Red Nose Day 2019 couldn’t be simpler, just visit the Comic Relief web site at:

All sections of the community are welcome to get involved as every penny raised counts in support of Red Nose Days.

Red Nose Day is now a firm favourite with us all, it is the day every two years when people across the entire United Kingdom work together to raise funds at home, at school, and in the workplace and is a greatly loved and enjoyed Great British Institution.

There will be a fabulous evening of entertainment with lots of laughs on BBC TV with comedians, actors, and celebrities performing for our enjoyment.

It is important to note that Comic Relief spends the money it raises through Red Nose Days to help people living tough lives throughout the UK as well as Internationally.

Why not see what you can do to help? Individually we can make a donation, a small group of friends could raise even more, larger groups of friends, colleagues and members of the public may be able to raise large amounts of money whilst having a fun time.Check our local media for Red Nose Day events and cash collections, and don’t forget to wear your Red Nose!

Go for IT!
