More COVID Restrictions Lift – How to Make Your Business Reach Its Full Marketing Potential This Summer

In terms of businesses, on Monday 17th May indoor hospitality and indoor entertainment, including cinemas, museums, and children’s play areas, reopened. With this, all remaining outdoor entertainment reopened and some larger events, like conferences, theatre performances, concerts, and sports events are now taking place, but restriction on the number of attendees has remain as set out in the roadmap. Organised adult sport and exercise classes have resumed indoors and saunas and steam rooms have reopened. Up to 6 people or 2 households can now meet indoors, and up to 30 people outdoors. We can now hug our friends and family, but COVID-secure rules remain for the workplace and businesses, such as in shops and hospitality.

With life and businesses getting back to a new normal for us, there are several marketing techniques that have been neglected over the past year, that can now be effectively implemented. Dan Cassidy, CEO of Shopify agency Brand Hopper Digital, is advising ecommerce clients to prepare for a boost in demand for products in categories like apparel and beauty “that will help people feel good and look good as they re-enter the public.” You should reclaim your brand presence, adjust your brand messaging to be more relatable to the present time, and make your brand’s stances clear. If your business has struggled during the pandemic, then you should brace yourself for your comeback by being certain of your brand and making sure that your brand’s message is being communicated well. You should also keep investing time in your social media accounts, particularly pushing live and standard video content, perhaps on TikTok – a platform which has grown incredibly this past year. Social media also gives you the opportunity to optimise and focus on your local customers and other businesses, which solidifies your place within the Somerset business community.

At Dexterous Designs, we can help your business positively bounce back and enforce these marketing techniques. From rebranding to website design to print services, and so much more! Please get in touch for more information on our services, or check out our website.
