Michael Jackson tribute comes to Taunton
All the moves and the voice to match, Jackson Live in Concert is the ultimate Michael Jackson tribute show. Selling out across the UK, it features live vocals, fabulous costumes, and of course spectacular dance numbers. With vocals that blow the audience away, the show sees long-time fan and hugely talented Amir Sharmar faithfully recreate the Michael Jackson experience, with his stunning rendition of all his favourite hits. An accomplished singer and dancer, and above all huge devoted fan of the man himself, Sharmar performs Thriller, Billy Jean, Beat It, Smooth Criminal and a whole host of other Michael Jackson tracks, complete with dance moves and full backing band.
MJ is fondly remembered in his many incarnations as one of the most profoundly influential artists of all time. His career spanned nearly five decades of music, and he was continually at the forefront of popular music, being crowned as he is now, the undisputed king of pop.
This portrayal of Michael Jackson is second to none, and Amir will be wowing audiences up and down the country with highly energetic and accurate performances of the king of pop. The tour includes a night at The Indigo O2 right next door to the venue where the man himself was due to perform to sell out crowds before his untimely death in June 2009.
Influenced by Michael Jackson throughout his childhood, Amir has been performing from a very early age. He has a wealth of experience in musical theatre, appearing in the West End and across the UK.
