Children from Somerset are next month (December, 2012) being invited to join Father Christmas for breakfast or tea at a garden centre in the county.
Father Christmas will be hosting breakfast and tea parties to get families in the seasonal spirit at Taunton Garden Centre on selected dates from December 1 to December 23. Gary Blagdon, Manager of the garden centre in Norton Fitzwarren, said: “Having breakfast or tea with Father Christmas has become a delightful tradition here at Taunton. “The families who come along year after year have a marvellous time and enjoy the magical and charming festive setting.
Father Christmas and his elves welcome the little ones, chat, sing songs, hand out gifts and share a very special breakfast or tea.” Tickets for breakfast or tea with Father Christmas cost £8.95 per child.
An adult breakfast or tea is priced £8.95. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Included in the price of the tea or breakfast is a gift for each child, the opportunity to decorate a gingerbread biscuit, and take it home, a colouring-in activity sheet and a satsuma. Gary added: “Tickets have always been really popular so this year families are also able to book online, as well as coming into the centre. Having Father Christmas here in our garden centre attracts both the young and old so we would encourage early booking.”
