How much is global warming going to change our coastlines? Rising temperatures leading to rising sea levels, now seems to be a case of when rather than whether. For counties with coastlines this could lead to serious problems and costs. £235,000 has been poured into supporting Somerset communities to help them prepare for coastal change and flooding. Somerset is one of fifteen counties that have secured a grant to help with coastal erosion and sea level rise, Sad though it is to think of our coastlines changing lets hope that grants like this will minimise the impact it has on people living and working by the sea. Both in our country and countries abroad.
