Take part by wearing a fun jumper and by getting all your pals, colleagues etc to do the same and donate just £2 each (£1 for school children) to Save the Children, just think if everyone joined in that would be a vast amount of money for this outstanding charity to continue it’s good works.
On Christmas Jumper Day every one wins, so encourage your family and friends, and all those that you work with or socialise with to pull on a silly sweater, the brighter and funnier the better and give everyone a laugh! By doing so we will make it a fun event, just the tonic for the start of winter.

So, what does Save the Children do?
In the UK alone they work with families to narrow the gap between children living in poverty and those who are better off. By focusing on learning Save the Children help children across the UK to realise their own potential. Save the Children do this by direct action and by influencing those in power.
Sadly more than a quarter of England’s children live in poverty, Save the Children’s programmes are designed to help those children achieve the best start in life.
How can you help?
By volunteering to help Save the Children at a local level. For example there are 120 shops and 300 fundraising branches, plus support for cake stalls, local events etc.
On a larger stage there are vacancies that you may wish to apply for.
