Over the years Taunton RFC have gained quite the reputation as a vibrant, community-orientated and highly successful club, providing a real focal point for sport in the area.
Just one of the elements that contribute to Taunton RFC's success is their jam-packed programme of events throughout the year, which range from member's meetings to live entertainment for all to enjoy.
Kicking off Taunton RFC's events this month is a hugely talented tribute act, who will be performing all your favourite Elton John hits live on Friday 24th February. Superb performer Joel Coombes has a phenomenal stage presence and perfectly mirrors Elton John's sound and style with amazing attention to detail.
The Taunton RFC Friends are holding a lunch meeting on March 10th to discuss current initiatives and future plans. The Friends is open to Taunton RFC members, former players and anyone who is interested in supporting the club.
Perhaps the most exciting dates on the club's events calendar over the next two months are the live showings of the 6 Nations action, which will be shown in all its glory on the big screen in Solt's Bar.
These live screenings kick off with England vs. Wales on February 25th and continue as France takes on England on 11th March. The last screening will see England battle it out with Ireland on 17th March. These screenings are absolutely free and there will be hot food, drinks at the bar and of course, unmissable entertainment for rugby fans!
