Hatch Beauchamps annual charity bonfire and fireworks night will be one of the largest and most spectacular displays in the area. 2009 looks to be a breathtaking event with the biggest fireworks budget to date. Always one to put in your diary this year promises to be no exception with street entertainment, live bands, illuminated floats and a jaw dropping firework display. The whole town comes to life during the evening with a colourful parade of over 100 decorated floats. Followed by musical street entertainment and the day culminates with a unique squibbing display. Set in the stunning grounds of Sherborne Castle is a huge bonfire night party. The gates open at five, for fairground rides and musical entertainment and at seven thirty the spectacular firework display starts. The fireworks are reflected in the huge lake making this a real night to remember. Tickets are available from Sherborne Tourist Information Centre. Call on01935 815341
