In preparation for thebestof Sudbury BUY LOCAL week, starting 2 June - 8 June, I have dedicated May to be the month where I just buy local. I've found some great new shops, really taken advantage of having a local market and farmers market and tried to plan my meals around what's been in season (Asparagus has featured heavily)
Tomorrow, at Sudbury Farmers market in St Peters Church, I will be there, along with a Mabel (I call her Mabel, but I'm not sure that was the name she was given originally) and a selection of some of the things you can buy in Sudbury.
So, please do come and say hi and ask me about my month. I'd love to hear where you shop locally, what's your favourite local business and why. The East Anglian Daily Times is kindly giving a load of Friday's newspapers away from my stall, plus I have bags and stickers.
