Boxford Fireworks – Saturday 1 November
The evening begins with a torch-lit lantern parade through Boxford village, starting at 6:30 pm from The White Hart and finishing at Boxford Playing Field. Expect a bonfire and fireworks at 7:45 pm, along with a BBQ, a licensed bar, and entertainment for the children.Â
Tickets are needed (it’s a fundraiser for local causes) and can be bought in advance from Boxford village shops or on the gate. It’s cheaper to buy early, with prices usually £6 for adults and £4 for children.
Hadleigh’s annual fireworks night comes with a spooky twist. Held at The Millfield (Hadleigh United FC), the gates open at 5:30 pm, with fireworks at 7:45 pm.
There’s a kids’ disco and fancy-dress competition from 6–7 pm, plus craft stalls, hot food, and both indoor and outdoor bars. Families are encouraged to come in costume.
Tickets: Adults £5, children (under 16) £4, under-5s free, or £20 for a family (2 adults and 3 children) if booked in advance. No parking on-site, so plan ahead.

The 1st Great Cornard Scouts host their annual bonfire and fireworks night at the Stevenson Centre Field. Gates open at 6 pm, the bonfire is lit at 6:40 pm, and fireworks begin at 7 pm.
Hot dogs, burgers, drinks, and glow-sticks will be on sale (cash only) to raise funds for the Scout group. Entry is £3 per person, payable on the gate . A lovely family evening that supports local young people.
Lavenham’s fireworks night returns, jointly organised by Lavenham Pre-School and Lavenham Primary School. Gates open from 5 pm, with fireworks, food, drinks, and sweet treats to follow. Expect local stalls and a raffle or tombola.
Tickets are on sale in village shops including John Heeks in the Market Place. Buying early is recommended, as this popular event often sells out.
Nayland’s community display takes place at the Village Hall and Playing Field. Food and drink stalls open from 6 pm, fireworks start at 7 pm, followed by a bonfire and Guy.
Tickets (advance): Adults around £8, children £3, family tickets £18. Limited parking in the village, so walking is advised. Blue badge parking is available at the Village Hall. No sparklers please.

The Crown at Hartest is hosting another great community bonfire night. Gates open at 5:30 pm, with fireworks at 6:30 pm. Parking is available on the village green and at Hartest Institute.
There’ll be hot food and drink available (cash only), with all proceeds going to Hartest Preschool. Always a lovely, family-friendly village night out.
The Lindsey Red Rose hosts a traditional bonfire and fireworks night with a BBQ, outdoor bar, and live music from Flying Blind at 8 pm.
The event starts at 6 pm, with a voluntary donation going to Kersey Primary School PTA. A relaxed evening in the heart of the village and a great way to support the local school.
