The challenge offered by Ash and Shaun Warner owners of "Shakes 'N' Baps" in Sudury has become a hit on their  Facebook page with the challenge being to design a "weird, unusual, wild side" burger.

The winner will get the chance to enjoy their creation with a friend whilst the burger will then go on sale throughout May with £1 from each sale going towards LeeStock Music Festival .

Suggestions so far have included

  • The Italiano (Burger topped with Spaghetti Bolognese and Bacon)
  • The Full English (Black Pudding, Fried Mushroom, Egg and Burger) and
  • The Dessert Burger (half a doughnut, ring of chocolate ice cream, thin sliced mango, strawberries and fresh mint).

Shaun Warner, owner of Shakes 'N' Baps said: "We wanted to do something for LeeStock as we have done every year before we opened Shakes 'N' Baps, and thought a design a burger competition would be the best idea. We have done these style competitions previously and they have proven very popular. We went with the 'weird and wonderful' theme to get people's creative sides going. LeeStock is a great festival for a great cause and we are glad to be a part of it."

LeeStock  is a music festival held at  Melford Hall raising money for the Willow Foundation in memory of local man Lee Dunford. This year the festival features the Lightning Seeds and an acoustic set by Terrorvision as the headliners and the festival has so far raised almost £50,000 for Willow. Entries to the Facebook page with a closing date for entries of 28th April, the winner to be announced on Wednesday 30th April.
